| I started Full Frontal Feminism, and haven't been able to put it down! I agree with most of what the book says, though I do disagree with a few things too. | |

| Glad you are enjoying it! And yes, all feminists are different, so your not going to agree with everyone on everything. Even my sister and I don't agree on everything when it comes to that. | |

| I'm reading "Strong Poison" by Dorothy L. Sayers, which is the 5th book in the Lord Peter Wimsey mystery series. WHICH IS ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING BOOK SERIES EVER. <3 If you love Sherlock Holmes, or Agatha Christie or mysteries of any kind YOU MUST READ THEM. It's sad that they're not very well known. Ms. Sayers was an awesome person as well as author. She was friends with Agatha Christie, a Sherlock Holmes scholar and an unofficial member of the Inklings. Basically, she knew most of my favourite authors. O_O | |

| I finished Code Name Verity and The Serpent and the Pearl recently. Code Name Verity is an extremely well written book- if you like WWII novels, definitely check this one out. It's about two female characters in the British military(one is a pilot and the other is a wireless operator/interrogator) and their friendship, which I found really enjoyable. Definitely a good read. The Serpent and The Pearl was also a very good read- I really enjoyed the well developed characters, the fluidity of the writing, as well as getting to learn about a part of history I'd never heard about before. The only problem I had with the novel was the amount of inappropriate content, which took away some of the enjoyment of reading. I'm currently reading Lion of Senet which is looking to be another fantastic read! | |

| Code Name Verity sounds like a really interesting book- I'll have to read it!
I just finished "Fangirl" by Rainbow Rowell, it was a really cute book- and though I couldn't relate to the introverted side of the main character much, her fangirl side was me. Haha I'm sure most fangirls could relate to it :p

| I'm currently reading Cinderella Ate My Daughter, also for my research project. It's about the extremes of the girly-girl culture and how it relates to sexism and consumerism. It's very interesting!
I also found the coolest book yesterday that I'm going to start soon! It's The Empire Striketh Back, Star Wars written as a Shakespeare play! It's so awesome!

| I've heard of that book! It's on my to-read list; glad you're enjoying it! I finished "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" last weekend and was sadly disappointed by it. It wasn't as good as I was hoping, the serious issues weren't handled well, the main character was definitely not a wallflower, and there was one scene that really grossed me out. The book did have some good moments(mostly later on), but it wasn't as good as I was hoping. (edit) I also finished the manga "Amazing Agent Jennifer" last night which was a pretty interesting read(kind of reminded me of Agents of SHIELD). I'm still reading "Lion of Senet" and I'm going to be continuing with the Fruits Basket manga soon. | |

I'm sorry you were disappointed. My mom saw the movie and she said that wasn't good either.
Cool! I hope you enjoy everything you are reading!

| You're welcome! Thanks- yeah, the movie doesn't look that good(though I heard it was better than the book), which is sad since Emma Watson is in it. Thank you! | |

| Finished The Lion of Senet last night, which I really enjoyed!! A very cool, different fantasy story. I look forward to finishing the series(only complain was the inappropriate content). I also finished another Fruits Basket manga last night. I am currently reading "Calling Me Home" as well as several Fruits Basket mangas. | |

| Oh wow, DSK, that sounds awesome! I was at the library studying today and when I took a break to walk around I saw Vader's Little Princess sitting out. I've been wanting to read it for a while and it was so adorable and funny! :3 | |

| Word of advice about LOTR (at least FOTR): Don't read the prologue. It just talks about the history and culture of the Hobbits, recaps what happened in The Hobbit, and it's very long. The book is already slow about getting to the good parts and action scenes (JRR Tolkien is the master of writing details), and reading the prologue will only make it slower and make you want to quit and just watch the movies. I am speaking from personal experience. I still haven't made it through 1/4th of the book, mostly because I'm too busy to read most of the time, but partly because it takes so long. | |

| That book is really cute Rachel! Thank you Shena! I'm glad you enjoyed the Hobbit Geek4God! I agree with allishmalli's advice about Lord of the Rings. I haven't even gotten through the first chapter yet (mostly because I'm too busy). | |

| Another tip for reading LotR while we're on that subject- if you can, get the large print books! It makes it a lot easier to read and stay focused, at least for me. | |
