What are your favorite Non-Star Wars books?

I LOVE the kingdom keepers books! I have read kk1-3 but not the 4th one... Yet! Also I'm reading a really good book called Incarceron! It's about a prison that's alive and this boy is trying to escape! I also love the Harry Potter books! They are awesome!!!! Oh there are so many good books out there!!

What you don't like harry potter! :O They are so good! But it's good that you like kk! Does kk4 take place mostly in hollywood studios, because the other books have mostly been in the other 3 parks!

Team Obi-Wan, haha, I guess KK makes up for that. LOL! KK4 takes place in Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Downtown Disney (in the beginning) and even a little bit at Magic Kingdom. The part I'm reading (i think it's like, two chapters till the end) they're in Magic Kingdom. Well, Amanda and Finn are. I think Maybeck and Charlene and Willa are in Epcot......I can't remember though. I've got to read more tonight! LOL! If you're wondering where Philby is, he's at his house, monitoring they're DHI's from a computer. LOL!!!! XDD

Wow that sounds like it's really good! I can't wait to read it! I think finn and amanda make the cutest couple EVER! I just died when I read the last chapter of kk3! I was reading it at school and all my friends thought I was going crazy but it's so sweet!

I don't like Harry potter either. Sorry to anyone who likes it

FINN/AMANDA!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't worry Team Obi-Wan, KK4 has a LOOOOOTT of Finn and Amanda in it. And my personal favorite, Willa and Philby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are SOOOOOO cute together!!!!!!!!!! I was freaking out just about every second of KK4. LOL!

Jedi Chick I just bought kk4 today and plan on reading it as soon a I finish my book Incarceron! I like phily and Willa also they go together well, but Finn and Amanda are my favorite because they remind me of someone I know!

Agreed. I think I might check these out from the library when I finish the books I'm currently reading.

Harry Potter non-lovers = sadness

I love Harry Potter so much. If it weren't for Harry Potter I wouldn't like reading. Me not liking reading is a scary thought.

Anyways, I'm sure most of us can agree that Harry Potter is about a million times better than Twilight (no offense to anyone who likes Twilight).


I also need to read Artemis Fowl.

I'd take Harry Potter over Twilight ANY day. And that comes from me: the person who REALLY doesn't like Harry Potter. xD
Its not that i hate it, I just don't like it because EVERYONE is obsessed with it. I have three..no, four out of like, five friends who love it so much and it drives me insane. xD

I understand Jedi~Chick. You're really nice about not liking it. I've come across some people who have been really mean to me for reading Harry Potter. Some people have even told me I would go to you-know-where if I read Harry Potter.

LOL the reason everyone is obsessed with it because it's so good!!! It's very clean too, I can't think of any curse words in the books. I think the movies curse a few times, but not often, and nothing really bad.

Thanks Satine! And I'm sorry if I offended you. That's really unfair of people to say. You are entitled to what you want to read and like! Just like how I am entitled to like other things! My one friend is beyond obsessed with Harry Potter, like so badly that her parents made her STOP reading/watching them for a long time because she couldn't do anything BUT talk/think about Harry Potter. Like an addict. I'm not even that bad with Star Wars, and THAT is my obsession. I at least branch out a bit, and get excited over other things.

Hehe.....yes. She's a little crazy that way. My main obsession is Star Wars, and I have other ones too. Like Johnny Tremain, Kingdom Keepers, Tangled and a few other things....LOL!
I'm serious about the Johnny Tremain thing. I was at the homeschool convention, and one booth had the Johnny Tremain movie, and I stopped adn yelled, "JOHNNY TREMAIN!!!!!" Everyone within ten feet of me looked at me like I was insane. XDDD My dad ended up buying me Johnny Tremain the movie. LOL!

I'm going to read Harry Potter this summer. You should read Artemis Fowl! I just finished book 5(with the demons) and it was so hilarious. There was this other girl genius and Foaly's like >.> "Now there are two of you." I'm not ADDICTED to Artemis Fowl, just uberly obssessed. A lot of people count Eoin Colfer(the author) and JK Rowling as two of the best authors in modern literature.

So the books are so so funny and awesome and addicting. I read like a book a day because they just suck you in. And the characters are addicting too. Eoin Colfer makes even the villians seem endearing and after like two pages with a character you're completely loyal to them. Characters are really a strong point.

Sorry if I make no sense and sound like a complete fangirl! XD

Ok, so a few of my favorite books are the Percy Jackson series, and Narnia, and I like a lot of the American Girl books, and Harry Potter is ok. But there are many books that are very good, but nobody knows about them!
