| How did you like Nevermore, Siri? It wasn't that good as books go...but the MR series has been spiraling downward lately, so I wasn't all that surprised.....and most of the plot twists were reversed later on...and they don't actually do anything most of the book.....I liked the final ending of the whole weird love triangle thingy...but they spent WAY too much time on it and didn't even really resolve it in the end. | |

| I didn't like the book either, Amar. The writing wasn't that good and the love square thing is still annoying (runs to re-watch the Rubmbelle episodes of OUAT to recover XD). The ending was pretty bad; I didn't like how they ended it at all. I love dark stuff but that was just too lame. I agree, the Maximum Ride series hasn't been that good since book three. | |

| I'm almost done with the Alex Rider series(only Scorpia Rising to go). It's been quite an interesting journey...very suspenseful and exciting, but TOTALLY not realistic. At all. And somehow it's still interesting even though EVERY book has basically the same plot. I remember in Crocodile Tears when the lady was describing the Poison Dome and how it was full of scary and I was like "he's gonna end up in there isn't he." and he did | |

| Cool Amaranthine! I only have Scorpia Rising left too, though it's been a few years since I've read the others. I really enjoyed the series, even if they are kind of predictable. | |

| I read Divergent a month or so ago. It was okay, but I wasn't all that impressed with it- I found it lacking in several areas. | |

| Has anyone read the His Dark Materials(The Golden Compass etc.) trilogy by Philip Pullman? They inspired quite a bit of controversy back in the day, at least as much as Harry Potter, although IMO they are much more harmful. I might do a review. | |

| XD Oh, I forgot to mention that I just finished the first book. I thought it was all right, although the ending was weird. I've heard it gets worse, so I might not finish the series. Thanks! | |

| I'm really glad I read your review Shena! I haven't ever read the series (I just heard about it and I think my mom may have read some), but it doesn't really sound like my thing. Still, I'm so happy I saw your review; it cleared up a lot of questions I had. Thank you for posting it! | |

| O_o The Amber Spyglass sounds incredibly weird...yeah..don't think I'll finish it. XD
I finally got to go to the library today! This is what I got:
3 Death Note volumes 3 Black Butler volumes Characters and Viewpoint by Orson Scott Card(a book about writing, really funny and entertaining even though I haven't read it yet, go get it) A book on getting published A Tale of Two Cities Hamlet Death Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases Foundation 1, Isaac Asimov
Hey, has anyone read The (something?) Life of Octavian Nothing? I was going to get it, but I discovered it wasn't actually about Octavian Augustus and left it. | |

| I'm currently reading the Berinfell Prophecies series by Wayne Thomas Batson and Christopher Hopper. They are really, REALLY good. I've read the first and second ones and I'm waiting to borrow the third from some friends. (book 1: Curse of the Spider King) Has anyone else read them? | |
