All I'm really hoping for (aside from maybe seeing one particular character) starting next season is more characters. While I do like the team as is (minus Chopper; he gets on my nerves) and I certainly don't want to have the show over-saturated with too many characters to keep track of, I would like to get to know more characters and maybe even see another team in a different part of the galaxy for a few episodes. I think it'd be interesting to see what other Rebels sects do and how they evade the Empire and such. Having a compact team is great and all, but there's only so much you can do with them by themselves. Plus, I kinda want to see the build-up of the main Rebellion that we end up seeing in the OT.
Spoiler:
REALLY?!?!?!?! JAT and Matt Lanter have recorded lines recently!?!?!?! *gets excited*
Okay, so I guess that could be for anything, but... I mean, it's gotta be for this! It's gotta be for this! It has to!!!
Btw, if it is for Rebels... I wonder if they're making a flashback or something... maybe for Ahsoka to have or maybe Vader to tell...
Overall, color me intrigued... and color me excited too...

MAJOR SPOILERS ABOUT FULCRUM AHEAD PROCEED WITH CAUTION
Spoiler:
Okay guys so idk if you've seen this yet but there's been a possibly MASSIVE spoiler about fulcrum's identity going around these last few days. It's like, practically been confirmed. This could potentially spoil everything for you, but if you really wanna know, here's the link I found. http://rebelsreport.com/2015/02/08/star-wars-rebels-fulcrums-identity-revealed-spoilers/
Have you guys seen Call To Action yet?
Spoiler:
I thought it was really good! Now I'm really nervous for Kanan, though. I hope nothing too bad happens to him. It was interesting to see Tarkin make a return as well. And I cannot believe the Inquisitor beheaded Grint and Aresko! I did NOT see that coming. The next episode isn't out online until next week but I can't wait!

That confirms my suspicions, SWA. I'm now 100% convinced that is who the fulcrum is.
Also, as the article mentions, Hondo is returning!!! I'm so excited for this! It makes me happy that they aren't just throwing away The Clone Wars, and it makes me happy because Hondo is just such a great character.
Spoiler:
My thoughts are pretty much the same as yours for Call to Action. I loved the ending. I'm also kind of frustrated that we have to wait until Monday for the new episode to be online, though.

They announced having a second season before the first episode even premiered, so that's not what's going on. http://watchdisneyxd.go.com/star-wars-rebels?verify=1 has most (if not all) of the episodes, so you can catch up pretty quickly if you marathon the episodes.

Just saw the new episode online (I think it's really cool that online gets the episodes early... I think)!
Yay, more Fulcrum/Ahsoka!!! I can't wait until they officially reveal her and hopefully have her be around like a recurring character instead of this mystery figure watching from the shadows, although it is pretty cool though
I really like the fact that this wasn't just wrapped up in one episode. It's really starting to feel like TCW with multiple-episode story arcs. I wonder how long it'll be before it becomes rare to have a single, non-arc type episode. I mean... most of the episodes all kinda tie in together anyway, but it's clear that Kanan getting captured is a definite story arc (even if it's debatable if maybe the fake-Rebels-sympathizer episode is the beginning of that arc or not... I kinda think it is since it's those events that lead the team to wanting to broadcast their own message, which leads to Kanan getting captured, and so on and so forth).
But you know what I kinda miss? I miss the opening narrations from TCW that caught you up on what was going on. It's not like I needed them to keep up (though it was nice to have if for some reason I missed it or my dad was watching arcs out of order), it was just kinda fun (and a bit cheesy), and I miss it. It's certainly better than the little opening they have for online viewing with Ezra basically saying "Let's Go!" The first time I saw that, I thought it was actually part of the episode and that the Empire had been spying on Ezra. But, I was disappointed.
Also, one thing I still REALLY hope for is more characters. I feel like the Rebellion as a whole is really interesting and probably filled with tons of fun, likable, and interesting characters. Plus, you can only have so many episodes with just the main six members, even though having a compact team that you can get attached to is great and all. I'm pretty sure that they might be going this route since they're bring back Hondo (even though he's a pirate and not a rebel). As I've said before, I certainly don't want to have the show over-saturated with too many characters to keep track of, but I would like to get to know more characters and maybe even see another team in a different part of the galaxy for a few episodes. I think it'd be interesting to see what other Rebels sects do and how they evade/fight the Empire and such. Plus, I want to see the build-up of the main Rebellion that we end up seeing in the OT, even if we don't end up seeing someone like Leia or even a Luke cameo.
Another thing I loved in this episode is the music! I didn't pick up on every musical cue, but I did pick up on the very end when they were talking about Mustafar. The music was the same music that was in RotS when Anakin was on Mustafar. I actually have that song on my iPhone... *checks to see what song it comes from* Ah, here it is! It's from close to the end of "Anakin's Dark Deeds" (I think it's the part when you see Anakin after he kills all the separatists and he's standing there looking over Mustafar). Speaking of Mustafar, what do you think Hera/Kanan meant when it's said that (paraphrasing here)"That's where Jedi go to die."? Is that just referencing Anakin's "death" when he burned on Mustafar or do you think that the Empire's (in this canon anyway) been capturing Jedi and executing them on Mustafar? Honestly, I think it could be either one. Maybe Vader has some mental issue and, not unlike a serial killer, he feels the need to make Jedi suffer the same way he did... just a thought though.
Overall, I'm still liking Rebels.
You know what I just realized? It's been way too long since I have been able to discuss a Star Wars show (as it's airing) with y'all. It feels SO good to be watching a good Star Wars show again and it feels SO great to be able to converse with my TLF sisters about it (even if there are fewer of us than before when we TLF first started and we were all watching TCW).

I just saw it!
Spoiler:
Yes! More Ahsoka! Same here, I can't wait for the reveal!
I agree! I like the big arcs better. The only bad thing is that it means more cliffhangers, but if it builds up more excitement for the show I can live with that.
Again, I agree about more characters. I'm ready for some more rebels and maybe some movie characters like Mon Mothma or Ackbar. Even more than new characters, though, I'm ready for new locations. Lothal is fine but I'm ready to see more planets and space battles and things like that. Hopefully the show will built toward that.
Yes, the music is great! I love how they have been incorporating music from the movies! It just ties the whole thing together neatly and makes it feel like Star Wars!
I was curious about the Mustafar thing as well. I'm thinking the empire executes Jedi there or something. Your Vader idea is really cool! I hope we get to see him again soon!
IKR! I love discussing tv shows, especially Star Wars, and it is so much fun to have someone to come up with theories and fangirl with!

I liked Rebel Resolve, but it didn't feel like very much happened. Like, that whole episode could have been a lot shorter than it was, but whatever. I'm excited for March 2nd, when the finale airs.
Spoiler:
I really wonder what Fulcrum's motives are. What does she gain by helping these six rebels on a tiny outer rim planet? How much power does she have? Why is she doing what's she's doing? Is it because of Kanan and the Jedi thing? I would guess probably, but then it doesn't make sense why she didn't want Hera going after him. Also, her voice sounded even creepier in this episode.
About Mustafar- I saw someone say that maybe Vader has a home there now, like his castle on Vjun in the EU, which would be incredibly ironic, but also kinda fitting. I hope that theory is true.
Do you guys think they'll end the season on a cliffhanger? there's no way they can wrap all this up in twenty minutes, it'll be impossible. There's too much going on.
I've missed talking about Star Wars things too! I wish they would air the episode once though, not at different times on TV and online. It makes it harder to avoid spoilers and watch the episode with other people. I miss that sense of community that we had with TCW when we could all watch it together. Rebels is still good though.

Spoiler:
I'm guessing that (along with the mostly-proven-but-not-yet-confirmed theory that Fulcrum is Ahsoka) Fulcrum is trying to help all the leftover Jedi who want to fight for the rebellion stay safe from Vader; and since Kanan's a Jedi and now Ezra's a Padawan, then she directs his team and tries what she can to keep them safe... ish... I still find it weird that they've stayed on Lothal for so long and the Empire hasn't located them yet. I'm guessing that her "power" is over leftover Jedi (and their small teams) wanting to fight for the rebellion. I'm also guessing that she's trying to keep Ezra safe from Vader by not going after Kanan, maybe thinking that if Kanan can't escape, then don't try put Ezra in danger by going to rescue Kanan. Yeah, I kinda agree about her voice in this episode. Definitely more creepy, maybe the voice changer thing had some blue milk spilt on it.
I'm not sure about a cliffhanger... It would certainly make us want to come back and see what happens and I guess it is kinda impossible too wrap it all up in 20 minutes, but I feel like it's already a stretch to have an arc already around 3-4 episodes long (t's debatable when exactly it all started) and then have to come back after a long hiatus to wrap it all up. But, I guess we'll see soon how it all goes down.
I agree about the TV thing. Although it's convenient for me to watch online (with me being at college and all), I kinda miss watching it on TV like TCW even though I rarely watched it live. Now, you have all these times people can watch it and it's hard for spoilers.

Spoiler:
I think Fulcrum's mission is to unite the groups of rebels. I think that at this point the rebellion is spread out. It's been implied that there are other small groups of rebels on other planets but they are not yet united. I'm guessing that Fulcrum is trying to unite the groups of rebels to create the big group we see in the OT.
I'm not sure about a cliffhanger either. Does anyone know how long the break will be?
I agree with you guys, I miss watching Star Wars on tv with everyone. There was always a big discussion after episodes, but now the discussion is sort of spread out and it is hard to avoid spoilers or spoiling the show for others.

Hey, since it's currently a couple of hours before the finale, I'd like to propose a theory of how it's going to go down.
Spoiler:
Okay, so here's how I think it's going to go down tonight. I think if they don't do a cliff-hanger with Kanan still being captured or something, then I think that Kanan and Ezra are going to escape just in time before Darth Vader arrives or something. Then after they get away, Kanan and/or Hera will speak with Fulcrum about the situation (maybe if they saw Vader himself) and at the last few seconds, we catch a glimpse of Fulcrum in person on the other side of the line and it's revealed that Fulcrum is Ahsoka...
But, then again I could be totally wrong on how it ends, but it's a theory!

Spoiler:
AHHHHHH FULCRUM IS AHSOKA WE CALLED IT WE TOTALLY CALLED IT!!!!!!!!! I am just so beyond happy to see her back! Not only because I love her to death, but also because it means the show is not ignoring the Clone Wars, which is what I had feared they might do! AHHHHHHH I'M JUST SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS! I missed seeing her! She also looks super awesome as an adult, even cooler than in the Mortis episodes! I love the design they went with!
That was easily the highlight of the episode for me, but the rest was very good as well. The lightsaber fights were great and there was some good character stuff. I have really enjoyed this show so far, and I expect that it will get even better as time goes on.

*calms down* So, yeah... Ahsoka is Fulcrum, like we all predicted... The way they revealed her was different than what I predicted, but I figured it would be.
Unfortunately, due to me not being able to watch the episode till this morning and Her Universe's untimely FB post about it, I was spoiled before I saw the episode. But, was I still really excited when I saw her anyway.
So, now since "the protocol has changed" and since we've established our main characters enough, I guess we're going to be seeing other rebels cells instead of just Kanan's team (more like Hera's team)... that's exactly what I wanted! I love how the show seems to be changing more and more to where there'll probably be a distinct difference in seasons. The show feels like it's about to get much bigger, which I'm personally happy about.
One thing that I'm not sure how I feel about is the apparent death of the Inquisitor (since there's now body, it's highly possible that he's still alive). It's not like I like him and want him to live; it's just that he was (to me, at least) built up as the main antagonist for the series and to kill him off in the first season after only a few episodes with him in it seems... empty. I'm glad that maybe now we can get some new baddies and now we also have Darth Vader (OMGoodness, we have Darth Vader!) to worry about, but I dunno... I do like the line hey said before he died... "There are some things far more frightening than death."
Also, the fight in this was really cool! I love Ezra's blaster-saber!
Overall, I loved the finale and I love Rebels as a whole so far. As I did say before, this season, to me, is actually better than season 1 of TCW and I think it's only going to get better!
P.S. If I were a betting girl/woman, I would bet money on if the next episode is titled "A New Beginning." P.S.S. This season felt a bit short... maybe 'cuz I'm used to having 22 episodes per season like in TCW. I hope having only 14/15 episodes per season won't be the norm.

Spoiler:
(Snape, guy in black are my parents when I found out about Ahsoka and started babbling XD)
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!! SHE'S BACK!!!
I got spoilers when a certain fangirl *gives pointed look to this girl but smirks*, who was having a fangirl freak attack, sent me a picture of Ahsoka on the Ghost. I started to cry like a baby as my family tried to sleep. (Me trying to stay calm: )
I thought it was weird that Ahsoka looks a lot different then what they suggested she would look like in the Mortis Arc with Ahsoka's dream/vision. I love the design of her lightsabers though I'm a bit surprised by the color had changed to blue. I will not complain though, she's here and safe doing what she was meant to do; protect the weak and be a leader.
I mostly afraid that she has to face Vader and if she doesn't know that it's Ani how she'll react. But for now I'm going to enjoy the fact that the character that was someone I looked up to for 3 years is back and ready to kick butt.

Well, I just saw a video today about that and since the general Rebels character design style is different than TCW, they had to try and translate her character design into that style and DF wanted her to look more like a Samurai than what she was wearing in the Mortis arc. Also, her lightsabers are supposed to be white (it's just that particular picture that's on the internet makes them look blue), trying to symbolize her neutrality since she's not evil, but she's also not a Jedi anymore since she left.
Here's the video:
Personally, I like her Rebels design better than her Mortis-design in TCW. Something about that particular design never settled with me. Actually, the whole TCW character-design style never really struck a chord with me, though I did get used to it after a while.

Oh wow, that's really cool. I like the idea of her lightsaber's being white, it means purity and like Ahsoka said "a new beginning"
I can't wait to see more of her, we really don't know how much she's changed if at all. Though I'm sure she'll always be that little 'Soka

Okay, so now that Ahsoka and Darth Vader are officially in Rebels, you know who else I think should be in Rebels next?
No, not Rex since Clones age twice as fast as regular people, he'd be around EDIT: 54 (Oops, did my math wrong) years old... which might be cool if he were still in shape and stuff, but it's still not my wish.
Ventress! I think that'd be really cool, even if it's just to see where she ended up. Is she still just a bounty hunter now? Did she join the rebellion? Did she join the Empire? They ended TCW with her being like Ahsoka except more on the Dark Side than her, so I want to see how she ended up. Plus, she was so cool to begin with!

Okay, now that I've had some time to calm down and think rationally, I can put my thoughts about Fire Across the Galaxy into words.
It was SO GOOD. Not even just because of the Fulcrum reveal (that part was my favourite, but I'll get to that) but it was just a really well done episode. I had such high, high hopes for it and it actually exceeded my expectations.
First off, I love that they brought back the TIE fighter from early in the season! Also, it looked so cool! I wish more TIEs looked like that lol. (I love that the stormtrooper's name for Sabine is The Artist. That's awesome.)
I have so many feelings about Kanan and his guilt over running from Order 66. Like, he was so young- there was nothing he could have done. Also- how the heck did he manage to beat the inquisitor after hours upon hours of torture? That seemed a bit unrealistic to me.
The lightsaber duel itself was so good. The best of the show. I liked the way Kanan used Ezra's lightsaber. I like Ezra's lightsaber in general. I LOVE Kanan and Ezra's relationship and the way it's developed over the season. This show is so good.
I can't believe they killed the Inquisitor????? I thought he was gonna be around for a few more seasons! He was like, the main bad guy! He was cool! He didn't deserve to die so early on! (I do get the who "Who will fall?" promotion thing that Disney was doing now... haha, very funny.)
I don't reeeally like Chopper, but he kinda redeemed himself by calling in the reinforcements. That was a good move. And because of him, we got to meet Fulcrum.
Ohhhh man, Fulcrum. For about ten seconds I was worried it might be Bail Organa and was preparing for a major letdown, and then gROWN UP AHSOKA slid down the ladder and all my dreams were alive again. AHSOKA IS BACK. I FEEL SO ALIVEEE
Do you guys realize that the Season Five finale aired on March 2nd 2013? And the Rebels Season One finale also aired on March 2nd? So Ahsoka left on March 2nd and came back on March 2nd, two years later. I am so satisfied right now.
I actually filmed my reaction to the Fulcrum reveal because I had a feeling that it would be good- and I was right.
I'm so excited for Celebration Anaheim and the premiere of Season 2!! Bring on more Ahsoka!! Also, Allishmalli, I really want to see Ventress, now that you mention it. I dunno if Ventress is the type for a rebellion like this, but it would be great to see her as like, Ahsoka's grudging sidekick or something.

I agree with you allishmalli, even though Ventress is far from my favriote list I would still like to see where she is now. And wouldn't it be great if she and Obi-Wan ran into each other? I always loved their banter and quick snide remarks XDD
But did anyone else notice that in this episode they never showed Ahsoka's left hand. Sure, maybe her glove, but other then that it was prosperously hidden. Could our little 'Soka be hindind something?

Well, if you're thinking it's a mechanical hand or something, think again. The official pictures I've seen of her show both hands are perfectly normal.
See? So unless she has a robotic hand that looks like a real hand or if DF is purposefully tricking us (don't know why he'd do that though), then maybe they just didn't feel the need to show her other hand.

I wasn't thinking it was a mechanical hand, just that our Ahsoka and I saw this and thought she might have a ring or something. I know its really out there, but knowing Dave like we do he likes to give sudtle hints then just throw the answer at us later on.
But I might be completely wrong and it could be like you said that they just didn't see it important to show her hand.

I wasn't thinking it was a mechanical hand, just that our Ahsoka and I saw this and thought she might have a ring or something. I know its really out there, but knowing Dave like we do he likes to give [subtle] hints then just throw the answer at us later on.
Ah, I see! It's certainly possible that she is married by this point. Personally, I hope (if she is married) it would be to someone we don't know... aka not Lux. I thought Lux was really only good to bring out some character development for Ahsoka in TCW, not good enough to have her get married to. Actually, now that I think about it, I think it might be interesting if maybe Lux is apart of the Empire and Ahsoka meets up with him at some point, maybe already married to someone else. Just a thought though.
