Revenge of the Sith!

This movie in my opinion is the most tragic out of the 7 movies! Sorry I count the clone wars movie! But it did answer alot of questions! What's yalls opinion?

This one is sad :( I can't watch the last part anymore, it depresses me, not to mention it gives me nightmares.

The worst dream I ever had was that Star Wars ended at ROTS and Luke and Leia were never born. It almost makes me cry just thinking about it.

No Luke and Leia?! It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it!

TOO SAD FOR ME TO WATCH!!!!!! I cry everytime. It's inevitable. xD

I actually kinda like ROTS!!!! I mean I like the first half:)(:

LOVE IT! The music was so great! The acting was a little lame though. I mean, c'mon, when Aayla Secura died, she was so incredibly pathetic!! Even though a lot of my favorite characters died, it was a great movie. "You were the chosen one!!!"- great scene.

I really like Revenge of the Sith, and then I really hate it. It's an awesome movie, but it's unbearablely tragic. The last time I watched it, I bawled and bawled. I cried more than the first time I saw it. I guess the clone wars show has gotten me more attached to the characters.

The first 30 minutes are good. The rest is pure torture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For me, at least. The one good thing about this movie is that it helps me when I'm acting--I think about the ending and then I can cry.

LOL!!!!! Anakin makes you cry on cue. XDD I hate the ending where Anakin and Obi-Wan fight. It destroys me. XP

The end fight is the best!!! SO EPIC!! I love it when they start kicking each other. And the grasp on dueling lightsabers. AWESOME!!!

Yeah it is sooo epic and I'm the same way this past fall I was in a play and I had to cry alot!!! So I just thought about Anaikin dieing!!!

Im with JediKnightGrl CW has gotten me so attached to the characters its hard to watch them die! Also its so hard to watch the clones get killed and turn! It also brings up the questions what happened to Ahsoka and Where is Rex?!

I think the movie is incredible...I like movies that make me cry. But I also like watching ANH right after, because it's so much more uplifting. The acting, music, and storyline is amazing though. It's a brilliant story, and even though i cry every time that i watch it, I can't help but love it.

I like it well enough; it's definitely the best of the prequels (but TPM will always be my favorite due to personal reasons). I never really liked Anakin's fall to the Dark Side though; it felt way too abrupt. Like:

Palpatine: JOIN ME AND BECOME A SITH ANAKIN
Anakin: NO I AM TURNING YOU IN
[Palpatine kills Windu]
Palpatine: NOW WILL YOU JOIN ME?
Anakin: OKAY SURE. LET ME JUST POP ON OVER TO THE TEMPLE AND KILL ALL THE KIDS.

Although then I read the novelization of RotS, which I highly recommend; it focuses a lot on Anakin's emotional state and does a better job portraying his fall.

Also, Padme's death always irked me; she lost the will to live? WHAT ABOUT THE TWO BABIES YOU JUST PUSHED OUT OF YOUR BODY?

That being said, I LOVE the ending with the recreation of the binary sunset theme and with the Organas on Alderaan. And the music is beautiful. And the beginning of the movie, with the stark bass drum beat as the camera pans down to a Star Destroyer and then a slow triumphant version of the Force theme starts up as we see two Jedi starfighters come into view and then OMG THERE'S A BATTLE GOING ON? PERFECTION. Also, Hayden's acting is marginally better in this movie. :)

Also also, Palpatine totally hamming it up as the Emperor is the second best part of the prequel trilogy.

And I agree. I can see what you mean about Padme. It makes me sad and a little depressed. But then again, it HAD to happen for the Original Trilogy to happen like it did.

Yeah, I can't begin to tell you all the fan fics I've seen with what SW would be like if Padme hadn't died.

Definitely! I agree. I do believe that people could die of a broken heart, but she literally JUST had two kids! Kids who needed her! But no. She died. Sniff. Depressing.

I've read a few great fanfics about if Padme survived ROTS. I'm reading an excellent one now actually!!!! And I've read a few other good ones.

My mom also read the book and said that it was better.

I've read many theories on why Padme died....one of them being that she "lost the will to live" because she gave her life energy to her babies because she knew that she couldn't do anything more to stop Palpatine and Vader.

Another one is that Padme represented the Republic. As she starts to fade, the Republic starts to die.

LOL Sarah!!!! I agree with you on Padme's death. That is another reason I don't watch the second half of ROTS anymore. I could write up a huge long ranting post on that, but I'm too tired, and I don't think anyone would really want to read it

It's definitely sad. A once good man (Anakin), turns to the dark side, and Padme dies. What kind of movie ending is that anyway?
At least Luke and Leia are born in the end, that makes it better. I love Luke and Leia! I love Han too, but that's a different story.
I have to say, The Empire Strikes Back is still the best one.

ROTS is a good movie!! I didn't see anything wrong with the acting or how Padme died! Would you want to live if your husband turned evil? But its not good to die when you just had kids thougha
