i know i can not wait till the 2 movie

My friend and I (being perfectionist geeks that we are) always whine about how different the books are from the movie but I do like both

They're going to make the Percy Jackson movie sequel. And the Diary of a Wimpy Kid guy is directing it. I mean, can't you just see the utter similarity of those two franchises?

I want to read that soooooo bad, but I'm at work right now.

I don't think I'll see it. xD I don't think I want to. The first one was good, but it had literally NOTHING to do with the book. xDD And I'm not really that into PJatO right now.

I think i will go see it, just because I want to see how/if they stick to the book.

I know! My friend and I were sooo annoyed when in the PJ movie he was 16 and they added all theses scenes! Why change it? It was so good before.

Well, I dont hate the movie, because that's how I got into the book. I have sort of a love/hate feeling about it. If they never made it, I may have never read the books, and then... I have no idea what would happen.

I've only watched The Lightning Thief. IS that the first one that was made into a movie?

I'm not totally sure yet, I'll have to watch it a few more times first maybe, but I did like it! It's just I have to get used to a 'new world', that's fantasy, but so different than Middle Earth, Narnia, the Star Wars galaxy, etc. I like how they used centaurs and satyrs though. Lol, I thought Grover was a faun for a while there. XD What about you, do you like it? It was funny! "Mwa! That's nasty." XD

Well...By itself, I think it's a good movie. I read the book first and greatly prefer it, and the movie changed a lot. Before seeing it I read the plot on the internet so I could see how different it was and have my expectations set accordingly (which is good otherwise I may not have liked it...). But yes, read the books! They are so exciting and funny!

For anyone who likes Percy Jackson, there is a similar trilogy called The Cronus Chronicles by Anne Ursu. They are also about Greek myths in modern times and have great adventure and humor!

I'm just going to say, Logan is REALLY cute as Percy in the movie. Ok, fine, he is HOT! Sorry....... that is probably a little awkward. I am not boy-crazy, but sometimes that just happens.

Anyway, i like the movie as a separate story than the book, sort of. What I like is it isn't like the book so much that you have to hate everything out of place, and if you have an open mind to it, the movie is good. That is confusing to me, but you get the idea.
