| I watched the first 3 episodes of Fruits Basket and I read a few chapters of the manga last week. I really like it and am starting to get addicted because I want to know more. Definitely will be watching and reading more of it during the summer! | |

| I definitely am May. The whole transformation scenario I can't help but get a kick from. It can get pretty funny! I really like the story line and that the manga and anime are pretty close. | |

| That's great! The first time I watched the anime I was keeling over laughing! ^_^ Just wait until a "certain" episode. It gets even better. ~May - StarWarsForever wrote:

| So far I don't yet have a favorite episode, I like them all. As for characters, I really like Tohru, and I find yuki and kyo and their cousin I forget his name very funny and interesting. I'm sure as I watch/read more my favorites will better develop. By the second/third episode I was laughing quite a lot and I can't wait to watch some more this weekend. I really like how Tohru is a strong character and she just keeps going and is very independent. The animation really shocked me just because it's a step up from the old 90's anime I watch a lot of. But I like the style and the art. My favorite thing about the anime and manga is the gorgeous artwork. What are your favorite characters? | |

| Oh yes I definitely agree StarWarsForever!!! My favorite character is Momiji, he's super cute and I love how positive and happy he always is despite all the stuff he's been through. I also love Ritsu and Hatsuharu because they remind me of myself, and Shigure is hilarious XD And Hatori, Ayame, Akito, Tohru, Kyo, Yuki, oh man I just love them all! XD | |

| That's cool! Tohru, Yuki, and Kyo are amazing! Oh! And the cousin is Shigure. Yes, there is one episode with a certain "character" that is just....insane. XD I laughed continually. Tohru is very interesting, I agree. Most people would've probably given up, but she lived in a tent! The animation and artwork is beautiful, and I also like watching animes from the 90's, because those are most of the good ones. But newer ones are good too! ^_^ My favorite characters are everyone in the Sohma family and Tohri. XD ~May | |

| Agh, now that I'm almost done with the manga, I can't stand Shigure's guts. XD They really tone him down a lot in the anime. They don't completely make him a harmless goofball, but in the manga he's very cunning and manipulative as well as being goofy and a pervert. XD He is very funny at times though. (I feel like echoing Akito's opinion of him- "Be nicer! Nicer nicer nicer nicer nicer!". And Kagura's-I can't post it here as it would have to be censored.)
I love Momiji, he's very sweet. It was bittersweet when he had his growth spurt and was (slightly XD) more mature and wiser.
May, which character are you talking about? I feel like all the characters are insane at times XD. | |

| OH I mean- Yuki, Kyo, Shigure, Ayame, Hatori, Momiji Kagura, Akito, and Hatsuharu. Along with Tohru's friends-Saki and Arisa. Oh, and Tohru herself! ~May - Amaranthine wrote:

| lol I agree they all seem to be a bit crazy at times. I just got introduced to Kagura in the anime, omg I was laughing so hard, just because of how over the top obsessed she is with kyo. So funny! I can't wait for them to say what animal she is, because I couldn't guess. I also started to watch Sailor moon in Japanese with English Subtitles. If anyone has seen episode 2 with the fortune teller and Umino, all I can say is wow! I couldn't help but laugh when he's trying to get Usagi to go out with him! I haven't seen the Japanese episodes of the show, and this was one of those episodes that wasn't in english. Definitely am going to be watching that in the summer too! | |
