I really love all of them. XD My favorite characters are probably Shigure, Hatori, and Yuki. My favorite episode was A New School Term Starts <3.

I haz questions:

1. Are all the zodiac members really born in their respective animals' year? Cuz that makes no sense.

2. Why does Hatori smoke when he's a doctor?

Naughty naughty Hatori. ^.^

Ok, so I FINALLY got Funimation to work, and I've been watching them like crazy. My favorites Kyo, Yuki, Hatori and Shigure. I cant count at how many times I've laughed over Shigure's quibs. My favorite episode is "A Rice Ball in a Fruits Basket". I love how Yuki stood up to Tohru's cousin. Though I wished he wouldve sent him through the roof....

Yay! I got everyone hooked on this show XD My favorites are Shigure, Momiji, Hatori, Haru, Ritsu, Akito, and pretty much all of them XD

My favorite episodes are "A New School Term Starts" and the last two episodes.

Also, I'd highly recommend the manga, you can read them online, just Google it. The show doesn't cover everything that happens, so if you want to know what happens to the characters, you have to read the manga

The next episode is Ayame's Secret Life...which is doomed to be SUPER AWKWARD.....XD If there's something so shameful that AYAME would keep it secret... XD It's doomed. XD

So far, I've really enjoy Fruits Basket; my favorite characters are probably Yuki, Kyo, Shigure, and Torhu.

If you haven't seen them yet, I'd really recommend Studio Ghibli's anime films, they are amazing!! So far I've seen-

Spirited Away, Tales from Earthsea, Princess Mononoke, The Secret World of Arietty, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, and Castle in the Sky.

I'd like to start watching some of Studio Ghibli's films! I started watching Howl's Moving Castle and it's really good so far!

I hope you both enjoy the movies(I have started Howl's Moving Castle but I haven't finished it yet). I checked but it wasn't on Hulu.

Just google "Howl's MOving Castle". It was the first anime i ever watched and I still really love it. It is very different from the book, however.

I only have two more episodes of Fruits Basket left...O.O I skipped Ritsu's episode cause I wasn't in the mood for deranged screaming... XD

Wish people wouldn't hate on the Prince Yuki Fan Club so much... People just don't like them because they know they'd be in it.

Oh and my mom saw Yuki on my desktop wallpaper and was like "That's a handsome guy" and I was like "AGHHH"

Oh and apparently Yuki's hair is supposed to be silver. I never knew.

Whaaat???? You can't skip Ritsu's episode!!! I love Ritsu! Shame on you!

Shigure : Hmmm? What's this, Hatori? I don't think I ever heard you sound so eager to come over. Could it be you have a secret crush on Tohru?
[long silence from the other end of the phone]
Shigure [shouts] I knew it! You naughty, naughty man, you!
Hatori : No, I was simply too amazed by your stupidity to say anything.

You're right, that Prince Yuki Fan Club episode was so boring...:( It did spawn the quote that is now in my siggy though.

I think I dislike Hiro even more than Akito.. XD

Not exactly tearjerkers...it was very sad though. and strange.

Random thoughts:

It rained straight through the last three episodes, LOL.

[when Tohru is stuck in the tree in the rain and sick/weak/etc, and *BAHM* Akito appears, I was like] "Maybe he'll help her up and take her somewhere dry" and then I was like "Nope. Who was I kidding."

Why is there this huge gigantic curse/stigma about the cat? ALL HE DID WAS MISS A BANQUET AND IT WASN"T EVEN HIS FAULT SHEESH.

Hanajima moved up on my list of fav characters <3333

The ending I thought was a lil cheesy...how Tohru was like "I laave you Akito I want to know you and listen to you rant and cry and hug you"...that's just the way she is I guess. and when she was like "Everyone will miss you when you die" I was waiting for someone to yell "HAHA NOT"

At least Akito didn't really change at the end. He didn't turn instantly nice, which was awesome. They definitely left it open for sequels WHICH THEY NEED TO MAKE>

I've been reading the manga...I really love the next episode with Ayame and Hana and Uo's backstories. I think it's hilarious how Ayame flips out and calls either Hatori or Shigure every time Yuki's nice to him.

I love FB so much.. XD

sorry to double post..but I can't believe Shigure just asked Tohru out...eww on so many levels.

I LOVE FRUITS BASKET!!! I watched the anime TWICE (I think I watched it at the beginning of last year) and now for a third time with Shena Tokala. XD XD

I agree with all of you on the characters, and the post where Amaranthine put the quote from the episode where hatori and shigure are on the phone I laughed soooo hard! I haven't watched it in a while though, so I don't remember everything. XD

I think anime is AMAZING and I've been watching anime for 4 years and this will be my fifth! I got Shena into Studio Ghibli and they are considered anime MASTERPIECES in Japan. I agree with them. ^_^

You're right about Akito being different in the manga. I'm at when Akito visits their summer house...XD He's such a sadist.. He was like "I love everybodeh" And I was like AHHHAHAHAH

I didn't like it when he said that he told Yuki to stop lying to himself and he thought Yuki was curled up in a ball crying and called him an idiot and laughed at him. NOT MY YUKII.

Rin is very pretty. But she hasn't said much.

It was hilarious the way Shigure set Hatori and that other chick(their teacher) up. And he was all like "what, what did I do?" I love Hatori so much.
