| Thanks! I agree, it's awesome!! We started season 2 tonight and the episode was really good though I really don't like a certain person - Spoiler:
Vera, Mr. Bates' wife
Who are you favorite characters? Mine are Anna, Mr. Bates, Lord Grantham, Mary, Matthew, Sybil, Carson, Mrs. Hughes, Matthew's Mother(Isabel), and Violet Crawley, and several other characters as well(I like most of them).

| Don't worry. No one likes her.
I like practically everyone except Thomas, O'Brien, and Branson. They have their moments of likability, but two of them are nasty and I just don't like the other. There are other characters that I don't like, but they come in later in the series.
Although some of them have their moments of dis-likability, my favorites do include the entire Crawley family, Carson, Mrs. Hughes, Mrs. Patmore, Anna, Mr. Bates, Daisy (on occasion), and some other characters that come in later.

| I watched the first episode of Firefly the other day!!! I'll admit it was a little hard for me to get into, but once I started meeting the characters and stuff, it really got good! I think I'm going to like this show! | |

| I've recently gotten hooked on another new show! Gravity Falls! It's so hilarious and clever, and I love all the characters. It also avoids most of the annoying cliches and stupidity of a lot of cartoons on tv now, and it appeals to young and old audiences, which is a big thing for me. I also think the relationship between the brother and sister is really fun. I like how it shows them getting along (most of the time) instead of constantly fighting like a lot of shows portray siblings.
I just hope Disney has the sense not to cancel this show!

| Ooooh I really want to see that show, DSK! It sounds really neat! A show I am positively hooked on is *shifty eyes* Star Trek: The Original Series. I find it to be really really funny; the actors do a great job. Well, some things...some things aren't as realistic as you might expect or want them to be (they can be rather over-dramatic) but just... THIS SHOW, OKAY I love the characterization. And there's so much snark and sass...it's positively hilarious. And the episodes often address pretty deep stuff. (Disclaimer: I don't agree with some/a great deal of what they indicate/promote.) Still, I overall completely love this show. It's amazing. | |

| Has anyone else seen/heard of Broadchurch? It's a murder mystery starring David Tennant as one of the lead detectives, and it is so good!!!!!!! You all should watch it, you'd like it! I love how it captures the emotion from the family of the boy who was murdered and the town and stuff. And David Tennant. Enough said. | |

| I really want to watch Broadchurch! They had the first episode on YouTube for a while so I was able to see that, but not the rest yet. Loved what I saw! Especially David Tennant. <3 I heard there's going to be an American version that he will be in as well. That could be interesting! | |

| Ok, I totally have a new guilty pleasure show XD Wander Over Yonder on the Disney channel XD I love anything animated, just about, so this is right up my alley, and it's just so cute XD It's created by Craig Mccracken, who worked on The Powerpuff Girls and stuff like that, and he's really awesome and very creative. It also stars Jack Mcbrayer, who was Felix on Wreck-It Ralph. He has the cutest voice! I also find it funny that some of the things on the show represent things about the Internet XD | |

| I'm getting into Once Upon a Time. My sister's really into it and she got me interested. I saw the ending of a season 3 episode (I think it was number) and now I want to know what happened beforehand. I watched the first episode yesterday and the second episode today. I really like it. | |

| What are some shows everyone wants to watch? I want to watch Supernatural, Merlin, Spies of Warsaw, Once Upon a Time, several animes and superhero cartoons. I think my next show I'm going to try is Orphan Black. I kept seeing commercials for it when I was watching Broadchurch and I thought it looked really weird, but it's gotten nominated for a bunch of awards so I'm going to watch it just for the heck of it to see what it is | |

| ♫ I wrote review! I wrote a review! On Downton Abbey, I wrote a review!♫
'Strap yourselves in, folks!’ A review of Downton Abbey By: Allison Spears, Editorial Editor When I first heard about the TV show Downton Abbey, I didn’t know what to expect. I heard that it was really good and really popular, so I was intrigued. Having an interest in British history and culture also furthered my curiosity since it is a British period drama. I had NO IDEA of what I was getting myself into… I’m not going to give too much away, but here’s the basic low-down of the show. Robert Crawley (aka Lord Grantham) and his wife Cora (aka Lady Grantham) own the estate of Downton Abbey. They have three daughters (Lady Mary, Lady Edith, and Lady Sybil), but no sons, so the heir to the estate is a distant relative (women could not inherit things at this time in history). In the beginning of series, the heir and his son (the next heir) both die on the Titanic in 1912. After this, the Crawleys have to invite an even-more-distant relative, Matthew Crawley, and his mother, Isobel Crawley, to stay with them so that Matthew will be able to inherit the estate when Lord Grantham dies. Meanwhile, the servants downstairs: Mr. Carson, Mrs. Hughes, Anna, Thomas, William, O’Brien, Mrs. Patmore, and Daisy get adjusted to the new valet, Mr. Bates and perform their daily duties. So why did I say that I had NO IDEA of what I was getting into? Two words: character drama. It is the core of the entire series and it takes you on an emotional roller coaster. You get invested with these characters very quickly and it’s hard to not feel for them. You cheer and squeal when your favorite couple finally gets together, and cringe when they are having issues. You growl at the TV when the villains do something nasty, and cheer when they get punished for it. You quake in your chair when characters are in peril and you feel sorry for characters when they are in emotional and/or physical pain (even if they deserve it). There is a sigh of relief when everything’s going to be okay and you go through the five-stages-of-grief when characters die unexpectedly. Another thing about it is that an episode can turn happy or sad in an instant and it almost always shocks you when something bad happens. So, does having this emotional roller coaster make the show bad? No, quite the opposite actually. While it’s sometimes painful to watch the more dramatic episodes, it’s very rewarding to see the good things happen to our favorite characters and to see the characters develop from the drama. It’s also any show’s job to get people invested in their characters and their stories to keep us entertained. This show has done that job well enough to gain a big following in both the UK and the US (more people watch it than you think). So, I think it’s safe to say that Downton Abbey has done an excellent job. The writing is great, the characters are great, the acting is great, and the drama is great. It’s an all-around great show. If you haven’t seen it and you’re prepared to go on an emotional roller coaster, I would highly suggest that you catch up on it. Strap yourselves in, folks! It’s gonna be a great ride! I give Downton Abbey 5 out of 5 paws.
