Agreed! I finally got to watch the first movie! I loved it! Just curious, am I the only one who actually liked Boromir? xD My sister hates him.

Sam and Aragorn!
Frodo and Legolas are great too.
(since my name is Rosie Cotton on another site, does that mean I can have Sam? )

I...have never seen Lord of the Rings, obviously. And I never had the desire to until I joined Lakehouse. So just you wait, at the end of all of this I'll probably end up a Frodo girl.

Yay Tara!!! I think you'd love it!!! Frodo is awesome! LotR and Star Wars probably tie for my second favorite universe. Narnia is my favorite. <3

Happy Birthday Professor Tolkien! Thank you for sharing the world of Middle-Earth with us and all the joy that came with it.
There's a tradition that Tolkien fans toast "The Professor" on his birthday at 9pm local time. My brother and I forgot until just a bit ago though...we figured it was 9:00 somewhere...or 9:20. XD

My brother told me about that!!! I'm excited!!!!! My RL BFF is going to go nuts XD She's now OBSESSED with LotR. I saw the movies but honestly forgot almost everything I need to read/rewatch. I'm going to see the Hobbit this summer for sure, though! I love the Hobbit!

December 14th, I believe.
OH, I WATCHED RETURN OF THE KING AND IT WAS SOOOOO TOTALLY AWESOME AND AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! 8D
(Sorry, I'm really excited. xD)
RotK was definitely my favorite out of the trilogy. Sam was really heroic, and he didn't get half the credit he deserved. I almost cried at the end when (spoiler)
Spoiler:
Frodo leaves
But yeah, it's one of my favorite movies, probably second after The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe!
