Anybody college age/applying to college?

I'll be taking my GED soon! I've been told by multiple people that it should be really easy for me. xP

And then I'll be applying for technical college.
Don't know whether to be excited or really freaked out. xD

If you apply for financle aid SAT helps mainly it helps place you in classes. For example; High math SAT score you can skip taking intermidate Algebra or not need to take the other lower math classes.

Don't worry some college classes are fun and for the most part you decided when you go to class. some classes are only available at one time but the academic ones you choose the time and days.

I'm a junior in high school(homeschool) and for awhile now I've been looking at colleges.
For a the last few years, I'd had a college chosen that I really wanted to go to and now I've found the top three I wish to go to. They all have really awesome acting programs as well as good writing programs; since I'll be majoring in Performing Arts and minoring in Creative Writing, this will fit me well. I can't wait!

Today I've been feeling really insecure, because I'm planning on applying to a lot of competitive colleges, and I hear about all these kids who were in like 20 math competitions, robotics competitions, national winners of stuffs, getting really high scores on tests, and I feel really unaccomplished .

I got my PSAT scores back today....bleck. Anybody take it or get the scores back?

I got my score, but I honestly don't know if it was good or bad, I'm not really sure what I should have made. It seemed good, but I really don't know.

Anyone have finals this week? In my computers and art class I'm taking for dual enrollment I have finals tomorrow. It should be fun though, something hands on like using photoshop to merge two different animals. XD

Satine, what did you get? It honestly just depends on where you want to go. I got 211, which is alright--better than last year, and not any worse than I was expecting, but I was hoping it could be better.

I got a 184, but I'm not a junior yet, so I can take it again next year. 211 sounds really good!

I'm not anywhere near college, but I DO want to double major in English and Computer Science.

XD You can do it, Pink! WE BELIEVE IN YOU XD. Just be sure to take tests when you need them(earliest is the PSAT or PLAN soph. year, but I actually recommend taking it as a freshman too. I started studying in 8th grade).

For homeschoolers, it's especially important to keep a record and make your own transcripts to explain to the colleges everything you've done or learned!

Neither have I! you have until first semester senior year to take it though!

I definitely know what I want to be and where I want to go to college.
My major is going to be in Acting/Performing Arts and my minor is going to be creative writing.
I love how, for one of the colleges, you learn other things besides the acting

The colleges I want to go to are - OCU, UCO, and OU.

I haven't taken them either Lillian. I'll be taking the ACT pretty soon, though.
