I didn't take the SAT, but I took the ACT and got my scores back for that. I'm very, very happy with my scores and was kind of surprised because they were better than I had expected.

I'm going to be taking the PSAT when school starts again, and I'm hoping that I'll qualify for national merit scholar. Any advice for taking the test?

That's so great! I'm happy everyone likes their scores! So you're not going to take it again, right? Are you a sophomore or junior?

STudy for the PSAT! It can actually be more important than the SAT because of the scholarship thing. The questions are different/trickier than the ACT questions, so be sure to familiarize yourself with them/take a practice test!

Thanks! I just finished my sophomore year. I think I will take the ACT again and try to boost my score and get some big scholarships. I haven't even had trig yet, so there is still more I can do to raise my score, especially in math.

I'm taking the ACT again in a couple of weeks(in June), so I can try and boost my score some more(even though it's good). I have one more week then I will be done with my Junior year of High School.

I haven't taken it with writing and I don't plan on doing so, but I may change my mind someday. I think I'll also PM you my goal, if that's ok

I think it's fine to take it without writing if the college you're applying to doesn't require it! You should check the requirements because some will only take it with writing. I'm sure yall'd be good at the writing portion though!

Thanks! The main reason I'd me doing a writing one is because I plan on majoring in Creative Writing, and that would be a good thing to have done

I just got back from visiting Stanford and University of California, Berkeley! They're both really cool, but really hard to get in XD. Berkeley is in a dingy crowded city but once you get into the campus it's like a beautiful redwood forest and they have creeks and stuff. Stanford is famous for its beautiful campus which is kind of like a mission style, and all they buildings are shiny and fancy cause they're rich. XD
