Amazing costume Aayliah, and I must agree with Rachel to conceal your face. If you do not have the resources to, I will be happy to oblige. Wink

OH MY GOSH BEKA COOPER! I love that series (although I haven't read the newest book yet; that's what Christmas is for)! That is a LOVELY costume Aayliah and I'm so excited to see someone else who's read Tamora Pierce! Have you read any of her other book series?

Also, I decided a few days ago that I am going to try and make Luke Skywalker's outfit from Return of the Jedi to wear to Dragon*Con this year. I realized that I basically have most of the outfit (black shirt, black legging pants, leather glove, boots that, while not exactly perfect, are close enough by my standards) and I really just need to make his vest. And after searching through screencaps I've come to the conclusion that the vest is looks easy enough that my mom and I should hopefully be able to figure it out without a pattern (because there isn't really a pattern close enough to want I want).

Now I just have to convince her to help me out!

Wow, now looking on it, I was really doubtful about it at first, lol. But it does actually look pretty convincing... O.o
Here's a picture of the baton I made, which you can't see very well in the picture...

My Jaina Solo costume is going to involve some sewing, not much though, and it'll be really easy for me to whip up in the new year. Smile My Tahiri costume won't invlove any sewing at all Smile
