| I'm going to /eventually/ make myself a 'Fallon Sunstar' costume. If I'm going to be a Jedi, I want to be myself! LOL!!! And I'll need a padawan braid too. My hair is about mid back, (maybe shorter) so when I get it cut again I'll look more 'padawan-y'. Then I can just go to the craft store and do what you said CBC!!! That sounds fairly easy to do. | |

| I try pulling my hair in a ponytail, but it's a sort of bob where the front is longer (like Lucy's in LWW) so the back is too short for a pony, but it looks cool anyway because I make a half-pony and have the braid, and I have this cloak and this shirt that sorta resembles the Jedi tops and I have some (just normal) black boots and a toy saber and that's my costume!! | I was just watching Padawan Lost and noticed that one of the padawans was wearing a sleeveless tunic. It looked so cool!! I outgrew one of my old tunics but it was only the arm length. I might alter it and cut the sleeves off. It would also look awesome if I did some painting on my arms or something. Plus, it would be a lot cooler to wear at SWW!!! What do you guys think? | |

| CBC that sounds SO awesome!!!!!!!! And so much easier for the Florida heat. XDDD LOL! I have my Jedi costume, but it's too hot. The muslin fabric we used doesn't breathe. XDD Anyways, that sounds really cool, and you can put Ahsoka or Darth maul looking 'tattoos' on your arms! LOL! | |

| LOL! That's a very good idea. I was DYING on Halloween. XDD I think my tunic was literally soaked with sweat. Then again, our Halloweens are always so humid and wet. It's not Halloween if it isn't raining. XD YES!!!!! Awesomesauce!!!!!!! That'd be so cool. LOL, my sister just suggested that you could make 'sunscreen paint' so that you can get the tattoos and still be protected from the sun. XDDDD | |

| Good idea!! I'll do that!! Face paint would be cool too!! Not my whole face though, just small markings like Ahsoka. | |

| Very cool!! Thanks for that link, Ley!! I'll be sure to use some of the advice on there.
Some really cool leather bracelets would looks neat. Or even strips of leather tied around my arm (bicep area). I'm so excited about this idea!!

| Yays for costuming!!! Would anyone be willing to make me a costume of Ahsoka grown up? No? Anyone. ~sigh~ Well, guess I'll have to settle for making it with a bedsheet and some toilet paper. XD | |

| Oh boy, do I have projects I want done... I think I'm going to end up paying my sister to sew them for me! I do want to learr to sew, sometime. So what were your ladies first sewing projects? Any suggestions for starter projects with basic skills but not much practice? (I've done a little hand sewing and a little machine sewing, not much). Beginner. | |

| I made a quilt for my first sewing project. After that, I enjoyed making doll clothes, purses, and other stuff by myself. | |

| I'm sure all of you know some good sewers! You can always ask them for help, I'm sure they'd love too. Even if it's just figuring out patterns from the store. XD
And don't worry if you don't make every single thing from your costume all by yourself with 0 help, because I'd be very surprised if most costumers did.

| Thanks girls for the help and encouragement! Store patterns ARE confusing. Ooh, maybe I should make my own patterns/ideas or search online for beginner things that are fun. Like, Star Wars-y. I should link to some if I find some good ones! *edit* I think I might have found a good cloak tutorial. Is anyone interested in possibly doing a 'sew-along', where we all pick a project and work on it together? | |

| Looks awesome, Aay'liah! You did a great job on the costume! But it would be a good idea to remove the picture of you or black out your face, any random/creepy person can come along and see it. *is trying to be good Mod* | |
