| Yes, Leia's right. A knit fabric is best. I have a pattern to make the dress. The brand and number is: Simplicity Costumes for Kids 4426
I'm not sure if they still make the pattern but it's worth a try to find it online or in stores. This pattern worked very well. I'm actually going to make a new one because I've outgrown the first. It also has a really good way of making the hood. It includes a pattern for the belt but not the shapes that go on it.
This pattern also includes patterns for a Jedi cloak and tunic.

| Today I made Ahsoka's top for my Stacy doll (like Barbie). It took about three hours and still needs velcro or something to hold it together, but I'm happy with how it turned out and it was a lot of fun! If I can find/get materials I may try to finish the costume. | |

| Hey guys! I found this a while back and thought I'd share! It's a VERY easy and VERY accurate tutorial for episode 4 Leia dress. This is so accurate that it qualifies as a Rebel Legion costume, and they're super strict about what they qualify.
You click the different tabs on at the top to read the different sections on it.
CLICK HEREI plan on remaking mine after I finish my Leia Endor.

| Yeah!! My mom made my Jedi costume. She only knows the basics of sewing and I think she did a pretty good job. If you need any help or pattern numbers, just drop me a PM and I might be able to help out.
The best part about being a regular Jedi is customizing your costume/character. You can be anything you want and personalize your costume a little bit. It's really fun!!

| My brother made a Jedi costume!!! Well he took one of his shirts and a pair of his pants and his boots for the base! Then I helped him and we made the things that go over the shirt and we used one of my sash/belt things for the belt and I made him this wives padawad braid!!! (: | |

| That's cool!! I've been wanting to do that. My hair is super short so I look more like a padawan. | |

| Yeah, right now mine's chin-length. I got it cut from a few inches above my elbow to about shoulder-length (that's how I got all that hair, lol), then I got it cut again to chin-length, so now I'm a Padawan too. Long live the Padawans!! | |

| Cool!! Mine is shorter than chin length. I have a faux-hawk right now so that looks sort of padawan-ish. I want to make a padawan braid and put beads on it!! | |

| Maybe you could by an extension somewhere? I wanna put those bits of green leather or whatever they are on like Anakin's. | |

| Yeah!! That's sounds like a good idea. I know at craft stores sometimes they have fake hair for dolls. Padawan braids are so cool. | |
