One Year Birthday Giveaway!

Heeeeeeyyyy girls! ;D This was squeduled to be announced Tuesday, but I didn't count on getting sick along with my mother. (We'll feeling somewhat better now.)

We're having a........ ONE YEAR BIRTHDAY GIVEAWAY!!!!!!!!!! *du du duuuuuu*

This was, of course, all my idea, so you can thank me now. Joking... moving on.

Now, this giveaway is a way to say THANK YOU for all your posting and the way you girls respect the rules. It's not a "get more members by tempting them with treats" giveaway. That being said, there will be a few qualifications...

*You MUST live in the 48 US states. No shipping to Hawaii or Alaska. I am SO sorry, girls who live out of country!!! I would LOVE to be able to get stuff to you, but the shipping just costs too much, and we're shipping this with money out of our own pockets!! :'( If you can come to Celebration VI, maybe I can slip a gift to you then to make up for now... Or... here's an idea. If you have relatives in America, we could ship it to them and they could get it to you later on. But please, clear this with your relative BEFORE you enter to make sure it's okay with them. We wouldn't want a mysterious, spooky giveaway package arriving on your family member's doorstep and they open it up and they have NO CLUE who it's for. ;P

*You MUST have at LEAST 100 posts. This is just to keep people from joining TLF JUST to enter the giveaway. Anyone that joins and posts tons just to enter will be delt with. If you're not quite to the limit, don't worry. This giveaway will last a few weeks, so you'll probably have enough time to get your post count up.

*If you win something, you will be contacted by the girl who is holding the prize. You will have to give your correct address. If you don't feel comfortable with that, you can always provide a family member's address or the business address of a family member's work.

*All addresses received will be destroyed after mailing the prize and will NOT be shared with others.

The girls who are holding the prizes are: Jedi~Chick (Who will be sending out CBC's prizes that she generously donated, as well.), me (I'm sending them from my grandmother's house for safety.), and Amaranthine. (Who will actually only be handing out a virtual gift card, so no mailing required there.)

Okay, there we go. There's not an exact deadline for this giveaway yet.... But i will warn you a few days in advance when it's ending. Probably a few weeks depending on how soon I can get the materials for the rest of my donations. I've looked all over my town and can't find what I need, so I'll have to order in materials. :/

I believe I got a link from Ley's signiture on Rebel Legion. I joined TLF because I guess I just wanted to talk about Star Wars. XD Very deep, phscyological reason, huh?

Name your favorite topic and thread on TLF and why.

Wait, topic AND thread? Aren't they the same thing? *scratches head* OR do you mean, like, 'everyting else' vs 'games'? If so, I like 'Everything Else', because you can talk about anything! Even though that sounds weird, as it IS a Star Wars site. And my favorite thread, off the top of my head is...girly girl. Although we don't post there a lot, it's fun because you can be crazy, girly, lovey and people don't send you to the funny farm. So it ranks up on the top of the list as one of my faves. It's not really fair to ask a favorite, you know. *shakes finger* Bad girl!

What would you like to see on TLF in the future? Any ideas or improvements? Or is it perfect?

Um...I guess I would like to see some smaller, age-segregated groups. Not like I don't enjoy talking to everybody, and not like I'd want the whole site segragated or anything (no way!) but it might be cool if us older girls could talk to older girls about mature subjects, and the younger ones could talk about where they're at, etc. That might be cool. Sort of support groups, maybe, even.

How has TLF helped/encouraged/made you laugh/etc?

It's been great just talking with other girls who don't mind if you're a little crazy. We encourage each other, and whenever I have a prayer request, girls come out of the woodwork to pray for me! It's fun to read the embarrasing stories or humorous fanfics (Bluey *coughcough*). It's a place where you can basically be yourself.

Hm. Here's my chance at national publicity, so here I go! XD

Girls, I challenge you to live out your dreams this year. I love acting, and writing, and drawing and singing (if I could get over my fear of it!). So...why aren't I doing much of anything? We should all give it a try! So audition for that play, get on the softball team, try a figure eight for the first time in your life. Paint that matserpeice, or help you uncle drive his moterboat. Whatever it is you want to do, but were to scared to do, give it a try!

*disclaimer* If you are not allowed to drive your uncle's motor boat, etc. don't. And don't do anything dangerous, ok? Not. Liable. XD

I joined because I was on the HU and followed a link here! The HU forums were pretty dead by the time I left and I wanted to find another place to fangirl about Star Wars, and so here I am!

I love the "Everything Else" forum because it's a chance to get to know people outside of their love for Star Wars. And I love the "exciting things" thread because hey, who doesn't like reading about exciting things?!

Oh gosh, I can't think of anything off the top of my head! I loved doing the secret santa; I think it would be super fun to do that for other special holiday's events. Or oh, you know what could be fun? A forum-wide rewatch of the movies! We could set up a thread, designate a start time, and post our reactions and stuff as we all watch the movie(s) together!

I joined TLH, because I have always wanted to fellowship with other Star Wars fangirls, like myself! It gives me a place where I can squeel over Anakin Solo (HE'S MIIIINE!), contemplate the newest episode of TCW, or just rant about my favorite EU books! You girls are my friends, and sisters now! I could never leave; I need you girls! May the Force be with you all! <3

TLH has really encouraged me to not be intimidated by people who think it's weird that I'm an uber nutty SW fangirl!! It's shown me that I'm not alone! And Blue's crazy antics, the many fangirl squabbles over characters, the insanity thread, the excitement over CVI, and so many other things have made me laugh and be so happy!!
