| I liked these books!! I can't wait for the movie!! My friend just finished them and told me that I reminded her of Katniss, (I was confused) She explained that I remind her of Katniss because I'm a good shot with a bow and my best guy friend is a hunter like Gale. LOL. | |

| I liked Mockingjay ok, I just didn't like the ending. So it's like ROTS for me. I love it, but I hate it. I don't know if that counts as liking it or not liking it. I guess you can put me on the very confused list | |

So far there's you....and you. It wasn't good like AHHHHH I THINK THIS IS SO GOOD!!! It's amazingly written, I think. Â They all are, but Mockingjay takes the cake. Â No-one could survive so many traumatic experiences like that actually have a happy ending... I think it would be kind of cheap of SC if she gave Katniss a happy ending, really. Â And I never said I LIKED it... I'm normally a huge fan of sad endings (I LOVE RotS to no end) but Mockingjay was over-the-top... But it was very good.

| I LOVED Mockingjay. except for those (many) times I started screaming my face off at the book when someone died. I tend to do that.
i liked the ending. It sort of showed that Katniss was still shook-up over the events of her past, but she was also able to deal with them.

| Chibi told me that she didn't like Mockingjay's ending. She thought it was sloppy and too rushed, and that it could've been written much, MUCH better. | |

| I agree with you! Happy endings must not exist in SC's world . . . The end of the Gregor the Overlander Series was about 10X worse than THG. | |

| I didn't exactly "read" mockingjay. I read the wikipedia summary of it. But from what I read from there it is a pretty sloppy ending to a book. It could have done better with a 4th book. It's like it tured into a whole new story. Second, I think don't think it's as bloody (or gory) as most people say it is. Thats just my point of view. Personally, I think SC didn't go into so much detail about it. | |

| THG did teach me something, though. It made quite a point of how we are growing so numb to violence.
I think I would have been disappointed however it ended.

| Amaranthine, ya have a good point. XD I just read the wikipedia summary of it. I never got the full detail of the book, it's just based on what I read. I stopped reading after Catching Fire because Katiness was getting just a tad to winny for me and the whole Peeta and forcibly being married thing.
And good point shaak ti. Thought I don't think we're becoming exactly numb to violence, I think it's that more of a natural instinct thing (as in to protect youself). I'm not sure it I'm explaining it so well...

| I read the whole trilogy. Really well written books! I also love Suzanne Collins' earlier series "The Underland Chronicles." She's very talented writer that can capture characters and emotion very well. | |

| Yeah, her writing (and other Star Wars authors like Jude Watson and Matthew Stover) have helped me in my own writing . (good books seem to help) | |
