| Today is day 1 of our Clone Wars rewatch! I believe we were planning on starting with the Clone Wars movie!
It's going to be cool re-living the introduction of our favorite padawan! Do any of you remember where you were and how old you were when you first saw the Clone Wars movie?

| Yay! I'm so excited!
I'm going to watch the movie really soon here.
And I believe I was 15 when I finally watched the movie. I saw pieces of it in music videos people had done and when I asked they told me about the movie, I found it on Netfix and watched it, I was super happy to find out how Ahsoka came to be Anakin's padawan and now I have it on my ipad ^_^

| The movie wasn't actually the first bit of Clone Wars I ever saw- I got into the show before I really knew how to navigate the internet and we didn't own any of the seasons, so I just watched whatever we recorded on TV. I think it was a few months after I got into the show that I finally watched the movie and I never understood the hate it got, because I thought it was great. As for the age, I was probably about twelve. | |

| Just finished watching Such nostalgia already! Its funny to see how Ventress went from the despised person to someone who actually helped Obi-Wan and Ahsoka XD So, what are your three favorite quotes from today's viewing? | |

| Okay, so live-posting is probably one of the best parts about rewatching a show so I'm gonna do that. (It ended up taking me like five hours to watch this bc I kept getting distracted but it got done in the end. Also, the live-posting got really long so I'm gonna put it under a spoiler thing.) - Spoiler:
Omg Mace Windu's voice sounds so different "A MESSENGER WE ARE SENDING" FROM MESSENGER TO REBEL LEADER I'M SO PROUD OF AHSOKA Matt Lanter's voice acting has come so far since the movie. "Perhaps they've brought my new padawan with them" obi-wan you scheming liar "A Padawan would just slow me down" Anakin that's not what you were saying when you pretty much begged her to come back into the order "I'm Ahsoka!" yes and I'm crying Look how little she looks Ventress has also changed so much since the movie wow SKYGUY SNIPS THE ORIGIN OF THE NICKNAMES Ahsoka's voice sounds so high "You never know what you're gonna run into!" *smacks straight into a droideka* that was such a bad joke omg I can't believe obi-wan's version of stalling is having a tea party that's truly amazing "You're reckless, little one. You never would have made it as Obi-Wan's Padawan... but you might make it as mine." This is literally one of my favourite scenes in the series. I love how Anakin said with a great deal of training and patience Ahsoka might amount to something and now she's a rebel leader "Ready he is, to teach an apprentice. To let go of his pupil, a greater challenge it will be." I actually have that quote on a poster of Ahsoka leaving the order because I needed the painful reminder. Ahsoka telling stories to a group of clones is hilarious Jabba looks like a sponge "I am a Jedi Knight! ....Or soon will be." Yeahhhh, not quite Ahsoka I wish they hadn't deleted the scene with Ahsoka and Anakin fighting the rancor, that was so cool. lol at the droids not being sure if they should call ventress 'sir' or 'ma'am' I have watched this movie countless times and just realized that Anakin made Artoo carry Rotta into the Twilight The Obi-Wan vs Ventress fight is the best of the movie "None of us are secure with you flying!" this whole movie is just Anakin and Ahsoka snarking at each other and I love it Young Ahsoka has the best facial expressions. Ooh yes enter Padme Amidala There are at least six people in Ziro's palace dressed like Chancellor Palpatine???? "The desert is merciless. It takes everything from you." Well, at least that's better than Anakin's line in AotC about how much he hates sand. Dooku looked so disappointed when he realized Anakin had tricked him with the rocks lol "I came here to negotiate!" says Anakin with his lightsaber at Jabba's throat. Padme literally saved the day; go Padme! Anakin and Padme, stop flirting in front of Ahsoka And of course, the movie ends with all the heroes standing posing for the camera.
The movie is still as good as I remember it being! I don't think I could pick three quotes, I love all of Anakin and Ahsoka's banter.

| So I just realized that I stupidly watched the movie and two eps yesterday I guess I should have figured that the movie would have consisted three movies for the first day. I feel like an idiot... So I'll watch one eps today so I'm caught up and to be fare XD And I totally agree with everything you said SWA ^_^ | |

| I actually saw the movie in theaters when it first came out. We went for my dad's birthday and I remember my brother getting annoyed because this kid next to him kept talking through the whole movie XD I would have been 11 at the time I was so little! But I remember loving Ahsoka so much. My friend and I used to pretend to be padawans like her and we would roll up our shirts to make tube tops I love the idea of live-posting it, SWA! I'm going to do that too! - Spoiler:
I love Tom Kane's narration. He sounds so epic. But wow, the animation sure improved as the show went on. The voice acting did too. It's Ahsoka!!! She's so little! LOL I love how snippy she was XD "I don't even think you're old enough to be a padawan!" "Maybe not, but master Yoda thinks I am." One of the best lines of the series! I think Ahsoka and Rex are my new brotp. Obi-Wan and his tea always cracks me up. And the general guy, "Bring us something liquid!" "But you might make it as mine." AHH NO GO AWAY TEARS The bounty hunters' heads . . . geez, even from the very start this show held nothing back. I love Obi-Wan being like "Punky?" XD I always liked the design for the jungle planet. And the scene when they're climbing the cliff is really cool. I always liked the music in this movie too. It had sort of a punk-ish feel too it, which was kind of cool. "He's starting to remind me of you more and more." "Maybe you should carry both of us then." I like Anakin quoting Qui-Gon The Twilight!!! I miss this ship. Obi-Wan vs. Ventress!!! It's so funny to watch considering their sort of friendship later on in the show. They still flirt with each other here, though XD AHAHA I nearly forgot about Ziro! What a weird character! XD I love his music, though. Way to jump to conclusions, Anakin. I don't think threatening Jabba will help anything. I love the ending of this movie. The music, and the final shot of all of the Jedi.
I don't know if I could pick three favorite quotes either. I love "I'm a Jedi Knight -- or soon will be!" and most of Anakin and Ahsoka's lines. And that's ok, GS!

| Watching Shadow of Malevolence now XD I think I'm going to try live-posting too - Spoiler:
I loved these eps with Ahsoka and Plo "He dose lead by example" isn't that the truth XD I more then just hate Dooku, I out right despise him -.- I love the look Ahsoka gives Ani when he says she's going to being his gunner. I really wish we could see Plo's facial features. Yes, you can see when he's smiling because his cheeks go up but still, it would be nice. And if he was human I could see him being white haired and brown eyed, like a sweet grandpa XDDD "I hope you know what your doing Anakin." "Well if I don't I won't be around to hear the 'I told you so'" "That's reassuring" Even though I love Ahsoka and Ani's banter I love Obi-Wan and Ani's just as much. Epp! The tip of the hat to Rouge Squadron ^_^ "Dose anyone care what the Padawan thinks?" That make me a little sad because they still never listened to her when she was blamed for something she never did. "They'll panic?! I'm about to panic!" "That one looks hungry." "Nah, its just smiling at ya." I've loved the part from the very beginning "He is one of a kind." The ending with R2, Anakin, and Ahsoka standing there makes me so sad because of knowing how so many things have changed and that they're not like that anymore. All three of them have gone down different paths.

| I like your live-posts! This is already bringing back so many memories. I remember that I didn't even want to watch the show at first (even though I loved the movie -- idk, I was weird back then), but my brother wanted to so we recorded the first two episodes on the night they premiered. I absolutely loved them and we rewatched them every day that week until the new episode could come out XD Really now that I think about it Clone Wars is what kept my love for Star Wars so strong. This show has affected my life in so many ways. It's what helped me make all of my wonderful friends on here, and it is what got me interested in studying film/animation, which I am now going to college for. How has this show affected your lives? | |

| omg so i didn't watch the movie (it wasnt' on netflix) but i watched the first three episodes this morning and it brings back so many memories :') From a viewing standpoint, looking at these old episodes it's amazing to see how far the animation went within 5 years. And the voice acting got so much better, too!! Haha, Ahsoka was so young xD From a more personal, nostalgic view, it brings back memories of how much i LOVED Ahsoka! she was my favorite character for so long (and still has a special place in my heart <3). Actually, she's what kind of "sealed the deal" for me and Star Wars. I had been a fan of SW for years, and i didn't think i could love it more. I remember sitting in the theater with my dad, brother, and a few friends. The scene in which she was introduced is the moment i sold my soul to the fandom xD She was so adorable and just an innocent little child and... haha this has kind of become a rant on how much ahsoka means to me lol. But she was such an inspiring, strong character to grow up with- I was always about the same age as her, and it was really nice to have such an awesome Jedi girl to grow up with haha She was my first cosplay, and i always get super attached to characters i cosplay... I think TCW had such an influence on me bc of TLF. It's how i connected to you girls and made so many awesome friends | |

| That's so cool, Shaak Ti! Yeah, Ahsoka is so wonderful! "Ambush" live-post: - Spoiler:
"Great leaders inspire greatness in others" was one of my favorite "fortune cookies" of this show.
It always cracked me up that the droids were asking what Yoda looks like XD Poor Ventress, she has to work with an army of idiots.
Again, it's amazing how much the animation improved as the show went on.
I love Yoda interacting with the Clones! I really just love the way this show treated the Clones. You can never watch Revenge of the Sith the same way after seeing Clone Wars.
This was a fun episode, and a good start to the series.
"Rising Malevolence" - Spoiler:
I don't have much to say here, I don't think, other than I love Ahsoka's snippiness and her relationship to Plo Koon. I remember when I first saw this episode it kind of creeped me out when the clones flew off into space XD
I'm so proud of you Anakin, teaching your padawan how to disobey the older Jedi XD
"Shadow of Malevolence" - Spoiler:
More Snippy Snips! I love the nebula, it's so pretty. The neebray mantis were cool too. "I always know where I'm going. I'm going to blow up that battleship." XD I love the way the y-wings look for some reason. Another good episode!

| The show and Star Wars in general effected my life in many ways. Star Wars it self brought me closer to my big brother who was the first generation in the fandom and I love watching the movies with him. As for TCW, it helped me though a lot of rough times I was going though then, at that time i was a young teen who had just moved across the US, leaving friends behind and not having many in her new place, self conscious about how she looked, and very shy it gave me something normal to hold on to. As weird as it may sound Ahsoka became my best friend and to this day when I'm a scardy cat about doing new or scary things I tell myself "Ahsoka could so this with no problem." And I'm sure I sound completely nuts for making a animated character someone that gave me courage, but she did. I remember being bored one afternoon and I was looking over the channels and I came across "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and that was the Mortis arc. I was excited to see Ani and Obi-Wan but then this young girl with head tails comes on the screen and instantly I had a connection to her and from then on I was sucked into the fandom. This fandom also gave me a chance to meet all of you, to find a place where I truly belonged and wasn't chastised for how I look or who I am. And I made a best friend that now I couldn't live without. And it showed me how much I wanted to be a writer and to persue my dreams. Okay, so now that I gave you my life story Sorry, I don't know why I always get sappy when I write these things XD | |

| Rookies - Spoiler:
Epp! I've always loved this episode, it was this and many other that made me fall in love with the clones. I still couldn't believe that the clones are of technically tween ages even though they look like their mid to older 20s. It made my heart hurt even more when they died. Fives! hehe! It's nice to know he went so far ^_^ The way the droid dressed as a clone uses to many hand motions is too funny "It appears your Captain follows orders as well as you do." "Mm, perhaps Cody is boring Rex with standard procedure and protocol." *starts sobbing* Poor Heavy... I love how they show how Fives and Echo came to be ^_^
Downfall of a Droid - Spoiler:
I really wish Anakin would have listened to Ahsoka more.
Grievous is such a coward -.- "You know attachment isn't acceptably as a Jedi." Obi-Wan is one to talk when it comes to that. How many woman did he fall in love with since being a Padawan, two, three maybe. I wish he would understand how much R2 means to Anakin and even Ahsoka.
"Pookms here really has her heart set on another R2, she lost the last one." "Pookms? Oh brother." ROFL I think that was probably the best part of this episode.
She called him gramps! XDD
Duel of the Droids - Spoiler:
R2 is so awesome ^_^
"Oh and Rex, you get to carry him" hehe
"Follow me boys!" I think that's one of Ahsoka's coolest lines for some reason
"He's just another tinny boys. Lets scrap 'em like the rest."
"Sorry to intrupt your play time, grumpy, but would you prefer a challenge?"
I think Ahsoka showed a lot of feels tword the clones in this episode ^_^
I love how R2 acts jealous.
"So, what did I miss." "Oh, the usual."
"Oh, Anakin, one day..."
"R2 is more then a droid, he's a friend."
Did anyone think Goldie was bad from the beginning the first time they saw this?
That was a great group of episodes and I really enjoyed seeing them again ^_^

| I started watching The Clone Wars shortly after I got into Star Wars. One of the first episodes I ever saw of Ahsoka was Jedi Crash and I had really been struggling with being a girl and liking Star Wars. I was ashamed of it, I thought it was for boys and I tried to hide or downplay my love for it whenever I was around other people. And then, onscreen came this teenaged girl Jedi, and she was a main character! She was keeping up with the guys! And she was so cool! She and Her Universe really helped me accept that there was a place for girls within Star Wars after all. I got pretty sick with an infection about a year and a bit after I started liking Star Wars, and that infection lasted another year and a half after that (and then there were surgeries and things but I won't get into that. I'm okay now.) When I was in so much pain that I physically couldn't stand up, I would watch the Clone Wars, and see this girl my age doing kicks and backflips and all these things that I couldn't do. It was... inspiring to see. My love of Star Wars, specifically the Clone Wars pretty much kept me going during the three years total that I was dealing with that illness. Whenever I thought I couldn't do it anymore, I just remembered that I had conventions and new seasons of the Clone Wars to look forward to. This show means a lot to me, because it was pretty much my lifeline when I was younger. On a bit of a lighter note, my writing has improved so much because of all the fanfics I've written for TCW so I have that to thank it for as well. | |

| "Destroy Malevolence" - Spoiler:
I love Obi-Wan and Anakin's banter in this one. Anakin and Padme are as sappy as ever Grievous using Obi-Wan's own line against him . . . Their duel on the trains was a cool one. And there goes the Malevolence!
"Rookies" - Spoiler:
One of my favorites!
I miss Domino Squad :(
Aww, Cutup! :'(
Yeah, Rex and Cody!!
"Big gun doesn't make a big man" -- One of my favorite quotes from the show.
Hevy! :'(
"I don't" -- another of my favorite lines from the show.
Go Domino Squadron!
"Downfall of a Droid" - Spoiler:
Poor R2! LOL, Pookums XD I like how Ahsoka is a voice of reason when Anakin's emotions get out of hand. The Trandoshan guy was so gross R2 is the best.

| That's such a great story, SWA!
I remember trying to downplay that I liked Star Wars at first too. I felt like I was too old to like Star Wars, especially The Clone Wars, so I tried to hide the fact that I watched it. I was really embarrassed about it until I found HU and found a lot of girls my age, as well as adults, who watched the show. I started reading blogs by adults who were writing in-depth, thought-provoking reviews of the show from an adult perspective, and that's when I realized that Clone Wars was much more than a "kid show". Then being surrounded by girls my age who liked the show helped me realize that I didn't have to be embarrassed.

| Bombad Jedi - Spoiler:
Man I didn't realize how high Padme's voice is XD
This was such a funny one XD
"Trouble me? Really."
That was very cute ^_^
Cloak of Darkness - Spoiler:
This one has always been my favorite since Luminara is in it. She and Ahsoka kick some serious butt!
I agree with Luminara. If I was there I would have been a little upset at Ahsoka too for jumping the gun like that.
"If it isn't the hairless harpy." "If it isn't Skywalkers filthy, obnoxious little pet." "How nice of you."
Defiantly one of my favorite episodes ^-^
Lair of Grievous - Spoiler:
All i got to say for this episode is that is really freaked me out O.O

| “Duel of the Droids” - Spoiler:
Ugh, R3 always annoyed me. Like you, GS, I knew he was bad from the start LOL Rex’s face XD The scene when they jumped off the ship was always one of my favorites. I just love the way it looks. Ah, one of the many gruesome deaths of the series. You know, we should start keeping count. XD Ahsoka’s first duel with Grievous! R2 kicks butt once again!
“Bombad Jedi” - Spoiler:
Jar Jar, 3PO, and Padme team-up XD Oh gosh. Honestly I think Lucas just put Jar Jar in so many episodes just to rub it in the prequel haters’ faces XD He works much better in the show than he does in the movies, though. I guess the animation in the show just sort of suits him better. He was already really cartoony, so it just sort of fits. Hmm, who on earth could that robe belong to??? Anakin should maybe stop leaving his stuff around. I think Padme’s friendship with Uncle Ono is really sweet. You know, when this episode first came out I didn’t care for it much, but watching it again I find it really enjoyable.
“Cloak of Darkness” - Spoiler:
Yay, more Ventress!
“I will gut you like a Rokarian dirt fish!” I always loved that line XD
Some awesome duels in this one! And I love Ahsoka kicking butt.
Argyus has the best hair XD
I also like how in this show the bad guys win sometimes. It’s realistic, and it keeps things fresh.
And the episode ends with another gruesome death XD Man, we really should be keeping track.

| Dooku Captured - Spoiler:
"This is how you thank me for rescuing you? Pouncing on me from the ceiling?"
"How can I be a master if I keep getting caught?" "At least your a master, at getting caught."
I love all the banter as their trying to land *clears throat* I mean crash.
Dose anyone else think that the repeats look like skeletons kinda?
Of all things a lightsaber Don't work XD
"Jump in anytime." "Oh your doing fine. She seems to like you." "Ha, lucky me."
Ahsoka's like Uh hu suuuuure I'm going to believe you two
The Gungan General - Spoiler:
Four words; Laughing. My. Head. Off.
Jedi Crash and Defenders of Peace - Spoiler:
This is one of my favriote episodes. It showed how close Ahsoka and Anakin are.
I also loved that we got to see Ayla Secura for the first time as a main part.
Anyone else love Ayla's french accent?
"Are all Jedi so reckless?" "Only the good ones"
"We're not going to crash into that star, but we are going to hit that planet."
I loved the message of the arc ^_^
I decided not to live post the rest but they're all great and enjoyable ^_^

| I got a bit behind too! I typed up live-posts for some but lost track after a while. Now, if I'm correct tomorrow we will have the Ryloth trilogy? I lost track of where we are Do you guys maybe just want to set it for each week instead of each day? For example, be at x episode by the end of the week? That way everyone can watch as their schedule allows if they are busy one day. | |

| Here are the live posts I managed to type up: “Lair of Grievous”This episode always creeped me out too! I love Kit Fisto so much, though! I like how Grievous’s backstory is hinted at in this episode. “Dooku Captured”Love this one! “At least you’re a master — at getting caught.” LOL! The intro of Hondo! The awesomest space pirate in the galaxy! “The Gungan General”I love this episode too! Anakin and Obi-Wan’s interactions with Dooku are priceless. “The count is an elderly gentleman and doesn’t move like he used to.” XD “Count Dooku does not share our sense of honor, and he knows where you live.” Best closing line to an episode. “Jedi Crash”I always loved the battle at the beginning! It looks cool Poor Anakin! “Are all Jedi so reckless? Just the good ones.” Love this line. Lemur people! “Defenders of Peace”George Takai!!! | |

| I only have a general idea of where we are in the rewatch (I sort of got waaay behind and lost count) so I'm gonna do the pirate episodes and the lurmen episodes because they're some of my faves. - Spoiler:
Dooku Captured I cannot believe it is that easy to sneak on board a separatist frigate
"How can I become a jedi master if I'm always getting caught?" "At least you're a master- at getting caught!" Anakin do u need some ice for that burn
"Let's try not to blow up the ship before they get off this time." Ahsoka.... please explain what happened last time
Hondo's flying saucer!
Obi-Wan just standing idly by as Anakin tries not to get killed by a gundark is hilarious
Ahsoka "always in time to save your life" Tano to the rescue again!
I am convinced that half the reason Obi-Wan wanted Anakin to get a padawan is so he could watch his former padawan struggle through the same trials of raising a teenager that Obi-Wan himself did.
gahh I wish the jedi had been able to capture dooku in this episode
"They are devious and deceitful... and most importantly, stupid." "It's a wonder you don't get along with them, Dooku. You have so much in common." Obi-Wan is just roasting everyone today wow
The Gungan General Not much to say about this episode except for the fact that Anakin and Obi-Wan teaming up with Dooku is hilarious and I love Hondo, despite him electrocuting my favourite jedi.
Also- "What happened to the power? I was having fun!"
Jedi Crash Ooh this is one of my all time favourites.
yikes Anakin that looked like it hurt
"Are all Jedi so reckless?" "Just the good ones." and the dead ones but you know
"I should stay. Commander Bly doesn't need my help- Anakin does." Awww Ahsoka
hyperspace, when done wrong, looks really pretty. (Like that episode in rebels when they had to eject in the Phantom and this episode of TCW where the ship is on fire.)
Okay they hit that planet at like a kajillion miles an hour why are they not all dead
"I've certainly perfected the art of demolishing ships and almost getting my master killed" that's okay Ahsoka because Anakin had that perfected long before you
Man Ahsoka is learning some tough life lessons at the age of fourteen
why is rex calling ahsoka 'kid' he's like twelve
"He was like a father to me... but I realized for the greater good, I had to let him go." *season five finale flashbacks*
how much stamina do these people have they've been running like all night
haha I love how Wag Too just puts the bandages over Anakin's clothes. That's certainly effective (not)
"At least this whole ordeal is over now." hahahahahahahahaha.... not quite.
I'm too tired to liveblog Defenders of Peace so I'm gonna stop there.
