Since JC and Tahiri seem to be handling interviews, it occurred to me that everyone, even sisters who didn't go, would like an official TLF CVI e-scrapbook post CVI. I'm not too bad with image manipulation and I have tons of resources and little cutsies at my fingertips, so if you're interested in contributing pictures, tell me!

we should use this font on plain pieces of white paper.

That font is going to be everywhere at Celebration...I suggest playing around with fonts that you like. The background should be the logo that Chase drew for us. You can make it a border to make room for usernames and names.

I agree with the nametag ideas! They're going to be awesome! I think we should have a contest for tee shirt design ideas! You can use zazzle.com to design teeshirts, even if you don't buy them. Then everyne could vote, and the one with the most votes is the official 2012 shirt! Maybe we could even do an annual shirt for each year!

More ideas:

JC, maybe I can make cards or pamplets or something for TLF and hand them out to girls at CVI! I'm sure we'd have a huge jump in our number of active members!

Maybe we should plan (closer to CVI) to have a group lunch. I don't know how meals work out at CVI, but it's just a thought.

We have to make sure to put the ranks/position on the TLF staff members' tags too! As well as VIP members.

And if we are going to be havng video/audio interviews (I think we should interview TLF members too!), maybe we should consider opening up a YouTube channel for The Lakehouse. Thoughts on these ideas? (And I will keep thinking of more, lol!)

1. When I brought this idea up to Ley, she said "We may as well get a new banner that says Trolls Welcome!" XD But seriously, as long as we just hand them out to nice girls that look like potential members, we'll be fine. I'm not sure if you're allowed any handouts at all at CVI, but we can check.

2. That sounds good! CLoser to CVI I'll be collecting hotel info and stay lengths, and I'm sure there are ridiculously overpriced food places on-site that you can all go to.

Yes, we could make certain (if not all) videos unlisted, that way only certain girls here on TLF could have the link. I don't have a YouTube account (yet), but I will most likely have one by August. Also, I think you should add that to our little chart/profile thing; some indicator of who is and isn't allowed to have photo/video of their face public online. That way everyone knows what photos/videos they can and can't post on their blogs, etc.

And Zazzle tee shirts actually aren't that bad as far as pricing goes. They have a basic, women's tee for $20, and considering the fact that they would be one of a kind, and personalized, I think that justifies the price. Plus, if we gathered together all the orders and the money, and ordered them all together, we would get a bigger discount the larger the quantity of our order.

Ashley definitely has a meet and greet in mind...along with many more epic plans! She said that I can announce these things to you girls soon.

That's a nice idea, but not very safe, especially since anyone can see the banner. Most of the girls on here (including myself) don't have an actual picture posted, besides, it could lead to stereotyping and racial profiling if we get the right (or should I say wrong) type of new members on here after CVI.

Oh yeah..I keep forgeting that this is a public site! Many of my friends have password protected blogs.. Well we could all just get a copy of the picture for ourselves then!!

Of course all CVI members in the picture(and the admins/mods hehheh)will get a copy of the picture. If it's not on the last day, we could print them out and bring them for Ashley to sign.

Yes... I know it sounds terribly exclusive and all, but it might be dangerous to have that floating around the interwebs, even if non CVI-goers are completely confirmed to be who they say they are.
I think it's best if only the people in the picture got a copy, with the option to share it with who they please.

EDIT: Of course, it'd probably be best to get the permission of the people in the photograph.

At CVI I heard that the Mandalorian Mercs will be there! would you guys mind (who ever is going) to check that out and tell me about it? I MIGHT go to the next BIG convention, in Mando armour! mwwwahahahah!

Cool Atina!!! I'll be sure to keep an eye out. And I think you have to be a certain age to do any sort of troop with cosplay groups or something, but if you had Mando armor that would be epic!!!!!

Girls, CVI is 44 DAYS AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!! :O I need to get to work on some stuff....so tell me now, would you all like a t-shirt? I'm considering getting some made. Same with wrist bands and business cards. Let me know ASAP and feel free to PM me more ideas!! I'd probably have to charge you for the shirts...because they'd be expensive to make. The wrist bands would probably come with it. And as soon as the CVI schedule is released (WHY HASN'T IT BEEN YET?!?!) I'll let you know definite plans for certain things.
