| When you first watched SW, what order did you watch them in? I know a lot of people these days start with the prequels.
I watched SW for the first time before the prequels even came out. So, obviously, I watched them 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3. I personally believe that Episode IV comes first. I think that if you start with IV and end with ROTS, it makes ROTS so much more epic!!

| The first bit of Star Wars I ever saw was the Podrace from TPM. My cousin and I played with TMP and AOTC Legos together when we were little, and he also gave me Star Wars Junior book about the podrace, I think. He's the one who introduced me to Star Wars. When I was 8 or 9 I read the Anakin's Journal book from TPM. The first Star Wars movie I actually watched was AOTC when someone babysat us. A few years after that I saw TPM for the first time, then part of ANH, then all of ANH, ESB and ROTJ this past summer. I haven't seen ROTS yet. I've read the whole plot though, and part of the Graphic Novel, so I know what happens. I'm afraid I rambled quite a lot. xD | |

| I watched them 456123. Actually, it was like: 444444 555555555555555555555555 666666666666666666 11 11/2 2(ish) 3(ish) 2(the beginning only) 3(the beginning only) 1111111111111111 44556611556611555555555566666 And so on and so forth. I think I've only seen episode 3 five times total. And episode 2 I've only seen three times total. I'm watching ROTJ now actually. The tape is rewinding. Yes, I watch it on tape. XDD | |

| Yes, I concur. Plus, if you watch it 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, then 6, it ruins the surprise that Darth Vader is Luke's dad and that Leia is Luke's sister! But you can also say that if you watch it in chronological order, it makes RotJ much more epic. The first bit of Star Wars I've seen was when Anakin bent down at his mom's grave from AotC about 5 or more years ago. Since, at the time, I would bawl whenever I even heard the word "die", I didn't watch much of AotC. Later if life, I watched 4, 5, 6, TCW, 1, 2, 3. Unfortunately, TCW was hard for me to understand since I saw it before any of the prequels. If I have kids, I'm gonna make them watch 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, TCW, all of the CW episodes, then 3. That way, I can start with them early, but wait 'till they're 13 to watch RotS. | |

| If you want my whole story, here it is. It was originally in the old topic "How did you find Star Wars".
"FLASHBACK!!!! I had first heard of Star Wars around 5-6 years ago when we were at a hotel in Conway, Arkansas around Thanksgiving. ATOC was on TV and my dad said, 'Ooh! Star Wars! Now is this the one where his mom dies?' It was because I specifically remember watching Anakin kneeling at Shmi's grave. After I saw that, I was like, 'Turn it to something else!' At that time, I was terrified if someone even mentioned the word death and I would start crying. Flash forward a little bit! I was turning ten when ROTS came out. I had forgotten all about AOTC at this time so none of it really clicked. I had seen the commercials and saw that it was PG-13 and that it was evil. I proclaimed to my parents that would never watch it even when I turned 13. Well, flash forward, then in the summer when I was 12, my dad rented ANH and said, 'Oh! This is a Classic! I think you'd really like it!' So, I watched the OT. I liked it, but I wasn't 'hooked'. The TCW movie came out. My dad and I saw it and liked it, but it wasn't that great (partly b/c I didn't know Anakin's back story). Then during TCAP week (Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program) when I was in seventh grade, my friend Daniel told me that I should watch the rest of the movies. So, I did and now I love SW! Sorry it took so long, but I thought y'all deserved the whole story."

| I've seen them all a ton of times, but my order is 431256 XD It was really random! I saw 4 when my mom made me watch it when I was 7, but I didn't get into it at first. But when I saw the 3rd, I was from then on, a fan for life | |

| Probably 4, 5, 6, then 1,2,3. I think that's about how it went... If you watch the OT first, the benefits are: don't know that Luke and Leia are twins don't know that the little green funny guy is Jedi Master Yoda don't know that Darth Vader is Luke's father If you watch the PT first: don't know that Anakin and Padme marry don't know that they have twins don't know Anakin turns to the dark side don't (necessarily) know that Palpatine is Sidious don't know who lives or does don't know how the story will eventually end It's kinda classic to watch the OT first, but for an awesome story watching the PT first might be cool... | |

| I watched them in the order 123456. I know that I would have liked Star Wars no matter what, but I don't think I would have been as big a fan if I hadn't watched the prequels first.
I already knew that Anakin turned into Darth Vader, so it didn't ruin anything for me. In fact, it made it more fun because my brother and I kept asking "When will Anakin turn into Darth Vader?" Plus it was a cool surprise to find out that Padme was having twins, and it was fun because I remember being really anxious about when Luke and Leia would find out they were brother and sister.

| I watched them in the order they came out....4,5,6,1,2,3. But honestly, I didn't start to LOVE SW, until I'd seen the prequels. Somehow, they gave the OT more meaning for me. My favorite episodes are 1, 3, and 5. <- (Random fact. ) The younger Obi-Wan was what made me fall madly in love with SW. So if I hadn't seen the prequels, I'd probably be just a casual fan. | |

| What order did I see the Star Wars movies in?
44444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444456456456456456456456456456456456456123456123456123456456555454512312345645612
I am currently re-watching them, which is why I stopped at two. The reason four popped up a billion times is because I apparently watched it that many times when I was three.

| I watched them 45612&3 well actually I watched te ending of TPM a fajillion times before and we have a HUGE movie projector and movie screen on our basement so that was where I watched ten for the first time which was really cool (: my when my friends are kinda leery about SW I star them off with Epi 2 and the 3,4,5,6 and ten I say oh by the way there is one before Atc it's just easier to start them out with the romantic one (: | |

| I watched them 4-5-6-1-2-3 since I saw the OT before the prequels were made. And personally I think that's the order they should be watched in; the prequels spoil a lot of plot developments in the original trilogy (like the fact that Luke and Leia are twins and Vader is their father). Plus, there are so many references to the OT in the prequels that you appreciate it more if you watch the originals first. And my order of favorites is 6-5-4-1-3-2 | |

| I kind of agree, but I think it was better for me personally to watch the prequels first. It didn't really ruin anything, because I already knew Luke and Leia were brother and sister and that Vader was their dad. I also probably wouldn't have liked Star Wars as much if I'd have had to end the series with depressing ROTS. | |

| I saw the films in this order - IV, V, VI, I, II, III. Then I read a bunch of the Star Wars books before starting on The Clone Wars film and t.v series(I'm going to watch the Clone Wars microseries soon since I'm hopefully getting volume 1 for Christmas) | |

| I watched the series 4, 5, 6 then 1, 2 & 3! I'm glad I watched it that way because I had no idea that Vader was Luke's father, nor that Luke and Leia were siblings, so it didn't get ruined for me. I remember the night I watched ROTS with my mom and sister for the first time and it ended and I went up to my room and was standing there in awe thinking, "I've watched the entire saga now!!!" LOL! I was tickled pink. XDDD | |
