Hair: Too dark. It should be less purple and a LOTTT more red/brown.

About Mara's hair, it's been described in the books as "red-gold", so.....yeah. ;D I am so excited for this shirirrrrttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I HAVE A HUGE PET PEEVE WITH THE PINK LIGHTSABER. I'm not the feminist-protest type, but everyone is so darn stereotypical about ALWAYS portraying her with the pink one. She had it for a very short time, in between the time she was Emperor's Hand and when she became a Jedi. She lost the pink one in a fight with someone (Lumiya??) (although it WAS in a video game after). For her ENTIRE LIFE AFTER, she used the blue one Luke gave her. And yet she's portrayed with the pink one almost every time. >.>

Therein lies my rant. XD Don't even get me started on the catsuit.

I'm with you though....Mara is a very easily stereotyped character. The blue saber is hers, she only uses the /magenta/ or purple-ish one when she's still the Emperor's Hand and going on her own. Like in the cover of the book Allegiance, or Choices of One. She uses the magenta saber there, because she's still the Emperor's Hand.
When she lets go of her past life and becomes a Jedi and everything else, she forgoes the magenta and uses the blue that Luke gave to her.

The catsuit is just awful. She is described as wearing a COMBAT SUIT in most books by Tim Zahn, but yet she's ALWAYS portrayed in the stupid catsuit, which is not only pretty much impossible to do anything in, it's incredibly sexist. XD And I am usually fairly against being a feminist, but character stereotypes usually get me going. XD
