Saving Up For CVI

Who else is saving up? XD I have a big empty tea gallon I keep all lose change and stuff in. I have about $20 change in it, plus my mom owes me about $20. It's not bad for a start. Hopefully I can at least pay for my own ticket when it rolls around!!! Anyone else savin up? Very Happy

I'm going to save up to buy extra goodies when I get there, but my family is going to pay for the tickets. Smile

I already bought my ticket but, to get money for that, I decided to sell my Nintendo DS. I hardly ever used it anyways.

I'm going to save my Christmas and birthday money buy stuff at CVI. I have almost $50 in change too!!

Tahiri, yeah, I might enter the costume contest. It would be fun!!

I'm babysitting all fall, winter and spring at our church, and that money alone will probably be enough for tickets for my whole family. Also, I have 60 dollars extra that I'm saving up for "extra goodies" as Tahiri put it.

i really need to start saving up. I think after christmas is when i'm really going to start cracking down on saving for sww and celebration 6 right now i have to pay my mom almost $200 for our flight to pennslyvaina this december and its my moms bday and christmas is fast approaching everytime i want to save something else requires my money hehe

I'm not sure if we can go or not. We have family in FL, so I'm trying to convince my parents to make it a double trip, so it's not JUST a Star Wars thing. Razz

My mom and I would dress up; my bro and sis don't want to. Not sure about my dad. So it doesn't look good. :( Buuuuut....maybe something will work out. Maybe you for a day? *shrugs*

I am saving right now my total is a big fat 0 :/ I don't think that I will he going because my mom cant go and my Lil bro dosen't want to go and my dad feels bad about just me and him going and it is expensive and he dosen't thing that we would enjoy and it is really expensive...he says maybe FanDays though :(

Awww, why does he think y'all won't have fun?? Even if just you and him goes, it would still be awesome! You could bring something back for your mom and bro. But I do understand about the money. But I hope you get the money, cause it's gonna be so awesome!!

I am too... Although I'm hoping my dad is paying for meals. If he's not, everything we eat will be from the dollar menu at McDonalds. XD

I need to get a job. I am seriously thinking about it. We have a grocery store right near our house that hires at my age.....and I could REALLY use the job. XD The money would go toward CVI and SWW....and I could show my mom and dad that I'm responsible enough to handle it. Smile

I put in a few applications this summer. I got super nervous when they called me back for an interview. But it never worked out because I was too young anyways. Razz
