National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)

I'm definitely doing it again this year!

I might do it, but I'm not sure yet.

I'm thinking about it. I did it last year but was super busy and only wrote 10,000 words. If I'm not busy I think I *might* do it this year...

YAYS FOR DRAMAH!!!! I was teaching my sister about drama yesterday. It was so much fun. XDDD LOL!!!

Speaking of which, I am working on a story now, that has LOTS of drama in it. So it's frustrating but worth it. xDD Ley expect an email from me.

Anyhow, I'm doing NaNoWriMo, but I have a BRILLIANT idea that I'm saving for November. XDD I want to write it, but I'll just save it.

You can plot ahead of time, it's actually good to do that. XD

I'm plotting ahead of time. I've got characters, plot and plot twists all in mind (and on paper). I just need November to hurry up and come so I can write it!!!! LOL!!!

I know it varies for each person, but how long does it take you to write each day, and how do you make time for it?

SWA: I'm probably going to write a different type of story...only because I've got a good idea that's more realistic fiction. But that doesn't mean I won't keep writing fanfics! LOL!!

Arda: For me, I finished a day early, and I pretty much shoved EVERYTHING else aside so I could write. I started literally on November 1st with no idea or anything. I just came up with a character and a prologue, and went from there. Pray a lot, it helps. XD

I probably won't manage to write 50,000 words (The most I've ever written was 27,00) but if I get my fanfic finished by then, I might give it a try.

To get to 50000 words you're SUPPOSED to write 3600 a day, but I know people who write a TON on weekends and barely any on the weekdays. For me I spend several days thinking up stuff and then a really long day writing it down. The best strategy is to think up your whole plot ahead of time so you don't hit writers block.

I want to try it again. I started late a couple times and missed a year, and I've never finished a novel yet, but I DID complete Script Frenzy this April. I love the camaraderie, the posting questions when you need help, making a story, helping other writers, complaining about writer's block, taking risks, being crazy, and trying to get work done by that deadline that makes Screnzy and NaNo. Great, now I wanna be in NaNo right now! XD

I almost wrote 'write now'. Great, it's happening already, and I'm not even DOING NaNo or Screnzy at the moment! XDXD

I don't really write stories that much (any plots I can think up are extremely derivative of other works and not very original) but I wish I had more of a talent for it; I have lots of characters bouncing around in my head but no story to put them in.

PJS - I love Script Frenzy!!! Congrats on winning this year! I've done it two years (plus a small attempt before that) and so enjoyed it!

I'm trying NaNo. I always give up on novels. I need help! I usually have ideas but I'm clean out xD.

Writing isn't a problem for me, you're talking to a night owl who only spends 10 hours sleeping on the weekend. I just need to plan out my plot, which is in bits and pieces at the moment.

I know Qui has started posting on it, and I will too, soon!

I would like to try NaNaWriMo. We were talking about it last night and I think it's cool. I have a ton of original story ideas in my mind that I have no idea what to do with. I have NO idea if I'm gonna pull it off though. haha, my only finished fanfic is over 50,000 words but I could barely post one CHAPTER in a month so..... we'll see.

I don't think I'm going to try it. I like to enjoy writing, and I know that pressure like that makes me hate writing. Something similar happened to me in Grade 6. I will continue to write fanfics, though.
