| On this joyous day of the Lakhouse's 6 month anniversary, it got me thinking where we would be without Star Wars. Let's think about it shall we? Some of you may not know this, but in 1962, George Lucas was in a fatal car accident. He was declared dead at first, until he was revived. God is good, but what if he hadn't survived? Not only would that mean no Star Wars, it would mean no a lot of things. If there's no Star Wars, there's no clone wars. If there's no clone wars, there's no Dave Filoni working for Lucas. If there's no Filoni, there's no Ahsoka Tano. No Ahsoka Tano means no Ashley Eckstein playing her, no Her Universe, and ultimately, no us. No Lakehouse girls. Can you imagine? Not to mention all of the couples who met and got married because of their mutual love of Star Wars. Even the greatest directors and actors of today will tell you that Lucas was their inspiration that got them started, people such as Christopher Nolan (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Inception) and Steven Spielberg (soooo many movies) So we can be thankful for all the blessings Star Wars has brought to our life, but most of all, we can see how good God truly is.

| Star Wars has influenced pretty much every single thing that came after it. It was a revolutionary moment in movie making and sci fi. | |

| *falls over passed out*
Life without Star Wars for me would literally be living 'down there' (points down)
i can't IMAGINE life without it!!!!!!! Well, now.
Honestly, for me, I would probably have a few friends, (one or two) and still be searching for that thing that gives me passion, as my mom calls it. I wouldn't be as close to the Lord as I am now, nor would I be as loving and kind as I've grown to be IRL (in real life). My mom and I would probably fight a lot more, and I may even be in public school. I wouldn't be writing, or blogging or ANYTHING on the internet.
I wouldn't have my own room, or be as close to my sister, or have half the stuff that is currently in my room.
So life without Star Wars would, frankly, suck. XDD | |

| Wow. Thanks for posting that, JKG. My life, and the whole world, would be a lot different without Star Wars. This is thought provoking... | |

| It definately is...My life without SW would be so...boring. In fact it would be downright awful!!!!! Thank the Lord for everyone who has helped in enriching the SW universe, from writers, to movie producers, to the Jedi Master himself, George Lucas. It's been such a big part of my life, and has inspired me in so, so many ways. | |

| I haven't even been a Star wars fan for a year yet, but it has had a big impact on my life. Without Star Wars, I probably wouldn't be close to my little brother, (also a Sw fan) I would definetly have less friends, and would still dislike drawing and colouring. Also, being a Star wars fan taught me how to love music, as crazy as that may sound! Life without Star wars would suck! | |

| No Star Wars! No George Lucas! No Dave Filoni! No Ashley! No Ahsoka! NO US?! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!! That is totally nightmare central! God really uses things for good! If it wasn't for SW I wouldn't have such great friends who really understand me!! Also another friend I have known for years might be becoming a SW geek girl!! | |

| I know it'd be so awesome to have you all and my 'older' friend from Narnia Web. She wants to watch them again first. I asked her once, I think I'll pester her again. | |

| I'm trying to get my BFF to join too. She gave up SW last year because she felt like it was taking over her life. Now that she's fully focused on God, I'm trying to get her to like SW again. I think the Christian aspect of the forum may sway her, I hope!! | |

| That's what I thought too. She TOTALLY cut it out. She sold all of her Ahsoka action figures and won't even watch Star Wars. I'm slowly trying to draw her back in. | |

| Like, Star Wars seriously just impacts everything. There are Star Wars references in Tangled. There are Star Wars references in Artemis Fowl. There are Star Wars references in Maximum Ride. SW is everywhere! It's a fact of life. | |
