Star Wars RP

Sure Ashoka! So far it seems that the end of CW/RotS and non-cannon is what most people want (I'm assuming the people who wanted CW/RotS picked RotS since that was the closest option?). Is everyone about ready to get started within a few days?

Yay!! I think we'll all have a blast! After all, we sure do in your SW life!

Oh, one more thing: should be have sort of a basic plot line, like 'Anakin doesn't go to the dark side' or 'Obi-Wan marries Satine' or anything like that, or should we all just run wild with our imaginations?

I think a plot would probably be good. Anakin doesn't go to the darkside would probably be good to start us off. Do you need character sheets for everyone to fill out? I know a website that provides free ones, so we can use that.

Okay, I suppose I'll start!

Padme Skywalker held her breath as Senator Bail Organa passed close by the pillar behind which she waited. Anakin had been gone for far too long; perhaps today would be the day that he would return. She had spied a few Jedi mingled with the bunch of senators coming down the hallway. Maybe, just maybe, Anakin was behind the group...

Nothing. The only human Jedi there was someone who she had never seen before. Padme sighed and slipped away, heading back towards her apartment. She had so, so wanted to see Anakin! But alas, she would have to wait.

Waiting. She felt like she had always been waiting. Ever since Anakin had left three weeks ago, she had waited, spending nearly every free moment lonely and afraid. She was afraid now.

Stop it! she told herself, wiping away a tear that had slid halfway down her cheek. He hasn't been gone that long yet, and maybe he'll be here next time...

As Padme slipped into her apartment she sighed. If only Anakin could know the secret that she kept, or thought she kept...everything would be better.

"30 minutes until we come out of lightspeed."

Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker stood on the bridge of the Resolute, gazing out the view-port. He and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, were on their way to Ossus, a planet in the Outer Rim currently held by the Separatists. Their mission: retake it. Step one: make their way through the blockade that is sure to be there. Step two: once on the planet, locate the Separatist base. Step three: destroy it. Simple, yes. Easy? Anakin wouldn't say that, but he felt confident that the battle would go in their favor. With the strength of the fleet, the army, and himself and Ahsoka, doubt was an uncommon occurrence in Anakin's mind.

"Ossus was once a Jedi stronghold," Anakin said to Ahsoka, who stood beside him. He didn't have to say, he was sure she knew of it from her history courses and studying up on the planet on the way there, but out of habit as a teacher did he tell her. Ahsoka had grown so much since they first became a Master/Padawan team on Christophsis. In stature, yes (he was half worried that she would pass him in height someday), but in maturity she had most progressed. She could think critically and make quick yet careful decisions, negotiate when needed, and her knowledge and control of the Force surprised even him at times. Although at first he was resentful of this assignment, Anakin was now very grateful to have the opportunity to guide Ahsoka into knighthood.

His mind flickered to Padme, separated from him again. It had been three weeks since he left Coruscant and the woman he loved. He couldn't help worrying a bit about her while he was away. Of course she had security and aides to help her and protect her, but he wished he could be with her more often. Or all the time. Another thing he was glad to have the opportunity to do: marry her. The most beautiful, strong, loving woman in the galaxy. His Padme.

So, what's the plan, Skyguy?

Arda, that's exactly the style I was going for!

Can everyone try to write it a bit more like Arda and I did, like a fan-fiction that everyone plays a part in? The one or two sentence chat-like thing is really fun, but we already do that in Your Star Wars Life, and I wanted this to be more like a fan-fiction in style. Does that work for everyone?

Padme sat on the hard, cold, examination table in one of those annoying white paper robes they give you to wear. It was a far cry from her beautiful senate dresses, her leisure dresses or even her glamorous nightgowns. Fidgeting she waited for the doctor who could tell her for sure if her feelings were right.

"Padme Amidala, is it?" the medical droid came into the room.

"Yes. I'm here for a pregnancy test."

"Aha. Well, stick out your right arm, please."

Padme did and the droid tied an elastic band around her arm, then inserted a needle. Padme flinched and looked away, feeling sick. After a moment the droid was finished.

"I'll send this to the labs and get back to you as soon as the results come in." The droid left the room, leaving Padme to wonder what the results of the test would be.

EPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to find out!!!!

Well, Anakin thought to himself with a smile, Even with all her growth, she's still my little snippy Padawan learner.

"We're keeping it simple - get on the planet and destroy the Separatist's base," he replied. "As soon as we come out of hyperspace we’ll have a battle on our hands with the blockade. You and I will take our pilots out to break through." Anakin grinned at Ahsoka. "Think you can handle it?" he said teasingly.

Her breath away to see the planet in space they were just coming from a mission on naboo.

Finally the droid came back.

"Miss Amidala, the results are back. You tested positive."
"Positive?" Padme asked. She was new to this whole thing, and had no idea what 'positive' met.

"Positive. It means that you are with child."

Padme gasped and her heart seemed to stop beating. So she was pregnant after all! She quickly thanked the droid, paid the medical bill and hurried to her apartment. She couldn't wait to tell Anakin the news!!
