We're watching a video in Criminal Justice called "Inside 9-11". We're not quite done with it yet, but we're at the part where the planes crash into the twin towers and people are trying to get out. It's sad... *sigh* Anyway, I'll talk to you about it if you want to.

*sighs* I know, I know. I heard a replay of the 911 calls and such on the radio this morning of the people screaming for help, and it was SO sad.

P.s. I smashed my toe against our fridge and I think I broke it. XD I can't move my toe.....

I'm sure it will be. I'm accident prone. If not, I have a cast that I used when I hurt my toe a few months ago. XD So I'll be okay.

9-11 is really sad! It was on the news last night here... why is it coming up all over the place?

Just a question...how old were you guys when 9/11 happened? Like, what grade in school were you?

I was four, so I don't really remember it. But I have this vague memory of being in the car and my mom freaking out cause she heard something terrible on the radio.

I don't remember the exact grade but, I remember my mom picking me up from school after it happened. I was really little though.

My mom says she remembers hearing it on the radio and she thought it was a joke that wasn't very funny. Quickly, she realized that it wasn't a joke and it was really happening. At the time, my dad was working on a military base so we were really scared for his safety because we weren't totally sure what was going on.

Yeah, I think I was pretty young too, so I don't really remember it that well. I just remember my mom kind of freaking out

Just remembered, today my mom and I went shopping. I saw a ton of Tron shirts for juniors!!! They were so cute too!! I haven't seen Tron yet but, I know a few of you girls really love it.

I guess I was in about the 2nd grade. I remember it really vividly. Someone called us and we were watching it on the news. I remember thinking it was a movie at first, then my mom said "no, this is happening now! In the place daddy was in last week." That was the scariest part for me. My dad had lilterally been working there the week before. In one of those buildings. Thank the Lord he wasn't there then.

I don't remember it at all...I was 3. But when I was older I remember being freaked out by it.

I was four. I don't remember anything honestly. I was told about 9-11 when I was about 7 years old, and I didn't understand why anyone would ever be so mean as to kill thousands of people.
Now I understand, and my family went to the 9-11 memorial in our town, where we got to see lots of people we knew and comfort those who are still hurting, even 9 years after the attacks.

I was three. I didn't know about 9/11 until very recently, but then I learned everything I could about it.

I heard that if bin Laden hadn't died, there would have been another attack in America today.

I was 6 when it happened. I don't really remember much about it. I asked about it the other day, and my dad told to me that I was sad. I probably didn't truly understand what was going on or why I was sad. It's only been recently that I truly understood what happened that day and why it happened. And it's only been really recently that I've been sad and almost in tears about it. I will say that I went to NYC when I was 8 and I got a snow-globe that had the twin towers in it, so I still have a piece of the past with me.

Btw, I also heard that in order to avenge Bin Laden's death, terrorists were going to attack again today. Hopefully that won't happen.

I was supposed to have a commemorative banner up by today. I'll work on it but I don't know if I will get it finished. I'm sorry.
