So today I rewatched the entire season one of Legend of Korra with my cousin. She loved it. I cried so much. I cried through the entire episode "Out of the Past" and "Endgame" I was a MESS. XD That show is so amazing and powerful, I can't get over it.

In other news, I've decided that my future husband needs (NEEDS) to have the voice of Dante Basco (Iroh II and Zuko)

Okay, I just thought of this and had to log back in to post it....(sorry for the double post)

Allishmalli, you said that Lin couldn't be Sokka and Toph's daughter because Korra said "You're Toph's daughter!" I have an idea for that though!!!
Maybe Sokka /wasn't/ Lin's dad. Biologically. I can think of two ways that Toph had Lin (logical ones XD)
A. She had a one-night stand or something....maybe a boyfriend or something, and he left her after she became pregnant.
B. Toph was married, and her husband died when Lin was a baby, hence why she took on her mother's name (Beifong)

Anywho, Sokka, as devoted best friend to Toph, is always there for her, and now for her young daughter (because either scenario (A or B) would leave Toph single and Lin father-less). Sokka takes on the role of surrogate father for Lin, taking care of her and giving her love and support growing up. And then of course, Sokka and Toph realize their deep rooted love for one another (I'd imagine he makes her feel safe and such) and they'd either get married, or just keep up a long-term relationship. She's his forever girl. :3

The reason Lin has Tohp's last name is because in the Avatarverse, they aren't very common. The Beifong family is super rich and well known, so even if Lin's dad had a last name, they would have gone with Toph's.

I watched The Last Airbender movie this morning. I KNEW it was going to be bad, but I didn't realize just HOW bad. O.O
IT WAS AWFUL. SO WRONG IN SO MANY WAYS.
They said all their names wrong. ONG, SOKA, KAYTARA, UVATAR, etc.
Zuko barely had a scar. He cried (CRIED) over his honor three times.

The only decent character was Yue and they did her wrong too.

Cool sidenote, Yue is the voice of Asami Sato in Korra.

I agree with both of you! The movie was terrible. That movie was so off from the original TV series. I went and saw it in theaters after watching the first season and half of the second and I kept getting angry. I'd talk about scene after scene as it played, saying-"That never happened, that never happened, you left out a huge chunk of the plot, Sokka is not funny, Appa's feet were wrong, the waterbending looks bad, only the fire bending looks good, Katara was annoying when she shouldn't have been. etc etc..."

I agree! But the last straw for me was that only 'master firebenders' could conjure their own flames. UGHH. That just makes me so mad.

Yes, that was goofy. -_- I was wondering why only certain people could conjure flames.

However, Konietzko also mentioned in the same interview that it was not up to them to greenlight new seasons. This information reveals that only time will tell whether or not a third Legend of Korra season will air."

Oooo! Sounds sneaky! I hope they have more seasons though!!! But I really wonder who the bad guy will be...?

UUUGH THAT MOVIE WAS SO AWFUL. XD EVERYONE was wrong. EVERYTHING was wrong. BLECH. I do wish someone would make an epic live action ATLA movie worth watching though!

I agree, the movie was pretty awful! I went and saw it at the theater when I'd only see the first three episodes of ATLA but I still didn't like parts of it, and now that I've watched the show in its entirety I see how bad it was. Sokka was serious, which I found very disappointing since he's SUPPOSED to be funny. I also didn't like Katara; in the t.v. show she's totally awesome and kicks butt a lot. In the film she was a total wimp and could barely water bend(I really didn't like her duel with Zuko in the movie; that part was so much cooler in the t.v. show). The only characters I thought were done well in the movie were Zuko and Iroh. I also didn't like how they did the bending, especially the fire bending.

Really cool information, I hope LoK has more seasons!

It was! I saw the movie before seeing any of the TV show, so i actually liked it. Then I started watching the actual show, and was like "um... They reallymessed up the movie! Sokka is funny, Katara can actually waterbend, Zuko's scar is covering his face, and... Why did they leave out half of the plot."

It was worse than the Percy Jackson movie (as far as following plot/characters)

I like Avatar.. but only the cartoon! HAHA

I like both the Avatar: The Last Airbender t.v. series and the James Cameron's Avatar
