| Interesting! I hope to see that film eventually so I'll keep your review in mind! I'm ashamed to admit I've never seen a bond film, so while I was tempted to see Spectre (you're right, the cinematography looks so gorgeous-- at least judging by the trailers), I thought I would appreciate it more having seen some of the older ones first. | |

If you want to watch an old one first, I'd suggest Goldfinger. I'll admit I haven't seen every James Bond film, so it's not like I suggest a Bond film from every era/actor nor can I give you an official list of my favorites, but from what I've seen, Goldfinger is probably my favorite. If you're gonna start with Daniel Craig, then start with his first movie, Casino Royal. His Bond is a lot more modern and his movies seem more like an actual series considering that Quantum of Solace is pretty much a direct sequel (in story) to Casino Royal and SPECTRE is pretty much a direct sequel (in story) to Skyfall, and SPECTRE connects back to the other two movies. I'd suggest that you start with a few old Bonds first before you move on to Daniel Craig though.

Goldfinger is the one I've heard about the most, and I know it comes on tv a lot so hopefully I can catch it sometime. I'd also like to catch up on the Craig Bond movies so I can stay caught up on what they're doing now.

| Anyone seen The Good Dinosaur yet?
I thought it was good. I think a lot of people will be disappointed that it is not Inside Out level good, but it wasn't aspiring to be. This is a different movie and shouldn't be compared to Inside Out. So for what it is I liked it. The story was sweet, and the animation was freaking amazing. My jaw literally dropped; it is some of the best animation I've ever seen. Anyways, I really enjoyed it, and it's a nice feel-good movie for the holidays.

| What movies do you guys want to see during the Christmas break? Besides The Force Awakens, obviously. The other one I really want to see is The Hateful Eight. They're doing special screenings of it in 70mm (which is basically this HUGE aspect ratio and it's supposed to look pretty cool) and I'm lucky enough to get to go to one! I'm so excited! I also want to see The Revenant, if anything just because I'm interested in how it was filmed. Apparently it was filmed with all natural lighting, which I am a big believer in. The other big one I'm looking forward to is Kung Fu Panda 3 | |

| What is The Revenant even based on? I couldn't figure it out from the trailer. | |

| I think it's loosely based on a true story about a guy in the 1800s who gets left behind by his hunting group after they think he died from a bear attack and he has to survive on his own. But tbh I'm mostly just in it for the cinematography and acting. | |

| Is it just me, or has anyone else been kind of disappointed with the summer blockbusters so far?
I think out of everything I've seen the only ones I completely liked were Captain America, The Shallows, and Lights Out.
I don't know if I've really seen anything awful either, but everything else has kind of just been ok. I've been quite let down.
