Halloween/ harvest festival

i'm so excited i wasn't planning anything for halloween but this friday our church is having trunk or treat (for those who don't know basically its where everyone decorates the trunk of their car and kids go around to the cars getting candy) anyway usually i work on friday but i work in the morning so i can still make it and instead of doing only one car my mom is doing one car and me and my sister are decorating ours
we decided on a starwars theme shes going as a sith me as a jedi we are going to have starwar music playing and even maybe starwars videos on our laptop going on and we are going to have a mini "jedi training acadmey" where i will teach lightsaber instruction and my sister will be the sith they fight (and we will have sw mask decorating for the pacifits who don't wanna fight) and of course candy yay so exiced

So far the little crafting I have to do for my costume is going well. I'm making a newsboy hat and haven't messed up anything too much...yet. I already cut the fabric but think I should wash it so hopefully it won't shrink too much!

I'm doing Luke from the Professor Layton series: http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110219182144/layton/images/e/e1/LukeTriton.png It won't be super accurate but hopefully ok! My brother is going to be Professor Layton: http://images.wikia.com/layton/images/1/14/HershelLayton.png which I am helping him with a bit. We're just making the hats and will pull the rest from our own clothes (and in my case, my mom's too!).

I won't be able to dress up, because the fall festival/harvest festival I'm going to isn't a costume one, and even if I dressed up anyway, I was invited on such short notice (I'm going with my bff, to her Christian school's festival on Saturday) :'(
If I were dressing up though, I'd be Tahiri Veila! ;D

I just tried on my Mara Jade 'costume'. XD I look hot! LOL!!! All it is is a black tank top, my black leggings, a belt with my lightsaber. But I still looked good!!!! I'll blog about it later.

I have a black cat costume. It stinks.

Anyway, I LOVE decorating my house with Halloween decorations. My mom has a big glowing pumpkin in the dining room!!

My costume looks really good!!! I am going to a costume party tomorrow nigh!!!
