Subject: Changes to the Bluray Thu Sep 01, 2011 5:02 pm
So what does everyone think of the changes they've done to the bluerays?
*Vader no shouts "NOO!" when he grabs the Emperor and throws him over the edge *The attack on the Death Star in episode six will have more x-wings *Jabba's palace's door in episode six has been made bigger to make the place look a lot larger *When R2 hides from the Tusken Raiders, he will be more hiddne behind rocks *In episode four when Obi-Wan scares the Tusken Raiders away, he has a new yell *The Jawas have been edited to where they now blink *Ewoks will now blink *Yoda will be animated in episode one
These are all real and has been comfirmed by Lucasfilm.
I believe I mentioned them all.... I personally do NOT like the new Vader yell in episode six. It sounds AWFUL. Sounds like a fan pasted in a yell. o.o

Well, I don't like the Vader yell either, but it doesn't really matter to me, because I don't have Blu-ray. I'll just watch it on VHS.

I have all the old versions plus the new versions on dvd, and we don't own a blueray player, so we won't be getting them either. I just thought these changes were very interesting. I really like that the Ewoks blink now! And Obi-Wan's new yell is more realistic.

I have only seen the old versions, (like, the 199something version) and I don't know what to think of the new additions. I like the Ewok eyes, Obi-Wan's yell, and I actually kinda like the Vader yell, because to me that makes it seem more like he's returned from the Dark Side and is saving his son. But that's just my opinion.

He would make a lot of money anyway from the bluray release, so why did he feel like he had to make all these little changes? It's sorta annoying, but I guess I'm alright with it. I like one or two little changes, but overall I'm pretty neutral on the subject.

I agree. It was awesome before. I think nothing should of changed. But I have a DVD player and sadly we don't even own the movies xD so it doesn't matter right now.
