Hi! Amaranthine here.

We are holding two, yes, TWO design competitions! The winners will receive glory and virtual riches!

Contest Number One:
Design the Lakehouse Banner!

This competition is to design the Lakehouse banner!

Rules:
1. The banner must be big enough. Our current banner is 800 by 440 pixels. That is the preferred size. A little smaller is okay, but too small and we'll disqualify it.
2. The banner must say "The Lakehouse Forums-A place for girls to talk about Star Wars, life, and everything else in a Christian environment" and contain either the reference for the theme verse (3 John 1:5) or the entire verse itself.
3. Please stay away from childish fonts and bright or garish colors.
4. No DeviantArt may be used without written permission from the artist.
5. The banner should be Star Wars themed or reminiscent of Star Wars.

The design should be sophisticated and not be to crazy or have too many elements.

The deadline is July 20th. The winner will be decided by the moderators(me, Jedi~Chick, and Leia). The preferred file format is JPG or JPEG.

The winning banner will be put up for at least a week. After that, we take it down when we feel like it. The winner will also receive a special winner's avatar.(maybe a siggy too)

Contest Number Two:

Design Lakehouse Products

Do you have a design that would look really good on a Lakehouse tee shirt? How about a tote bag?

This contest is for fun. We probably won't make the products(but we're not ruling anything out, either).

Rules:
1. Suggested products: tee shirt, hoodie, tote bag, wristband. You can design anything you want and submit a design for more than one type of product.

Deadline is July 20th. Winning designs will be printed in newsletter, and winners will get an icon. Please PM pictures or screenshots to me or email them to amaranthine@linglink.com.

One more thing...
This is not a contest, but you girls are free to draw pictures of yourselves to share with us! They will be printed in the newsletter. This is a lot of fun and I hope you participate!

You may also draw pictures of The Lakehouse Sisters together! Pick some of your closest sisters or draw everyone together!(good luck with that, heh heh)
