Picture of Jesus

Ok, you know how I'm reading that book, "Heaven is for Real"? Well, apparently, a child prodigy named Akiane Kramarik had visions of Heaven at an early age. She painted a picture of Jesus at age 8. In my book, the dad asked Colton (the child in the book) if there was anything wrong with it since for a long time they asked him that when they were showing him pictures of Jesus. Colton said that there was NOTHING wrong with it!

That's really amazing, but remember that the only things that can be known as ABSOLUTELY true are what's in the Bible. That might be what Jesus looks like, or it might not be. But the only thing we should accept as true is what's in the Bible. And the answer is still the same: no one knows until we get to Heaven!

I did research on the girl. She claims that God gave her the ability to see visions of him, etc. A lot of people claimed(and still claim) that including the founder of the Mormons and the Muslims. That doesn't mean it's true.

We need to depend on the Bible only for our information, for a firm foundation so we don't get swayed by whatever Earth people say or believe.

Well, it's about this three-year-old named Colton. After an emergency appendectomy, he told his parents that he left his body during the surgery—and authenticated it by describing exactly what his parents were doing in another part of the hospital while he was in surgery. He talked about visiting heaven, meeting people he's never met before (like his great-grandad, his unborn sister, John the Babtist, etc.), and he uses descriptions about heaven that match the Bible exactly, though he hasn't learned to read yet. He describes Jesus, the angles, how big Gid is, how much he loves us, and more! The story is retold by his dad, but he uses Colton's simple words. It's a really good book. I think everyone needs to read it.

Yha I've heard about this kid. We talked a little about it in history! (Well maybe...) It's amazing when this like this happen but I do agree with Amaranthine though. It could be true or it couldn't. But thats for sharing its very interesting. This kid though has a way better idea of what Jesus and God look like then I do...

As for if that /really/ is what Jesus looks like.....I guess we'll just have to find out someday, now won't we?

Well, I think your picture may be close-ish to accurate. Jews who saw Jesus painted pictures of him in catacombs. Also, I believe God may give modern-day people vissions of hevan to strengthen our belief, especially if they are doubting.
