Father's Day!!!

Hey!!! So... what are y'all doing for Father's Day? Right now, I'm attempting to make a card, but I'm stuck. My sister and I bought my dad a folder-ish thing (He's a lawyer, so he needs a place for papers).

I still need to go shopping! Eeek, I'm cutting it close. I'm going tomorrow though.
I don't think we're doing anything, except celebrating my dad of course! My Daddy is definitely one to celebrate! I love him.

I got my dad a beautiful card and I sketched him a picture of the 8 point deer on our wall!!! Ii think that is all we are doing my dad is a good Godly man I love him so much!!!

lol, both me and my two sisters are going to be at camp. So we had a little mini celebration tonight.

We didn't get him any presents because he already bought something for himself. It's funny, he drives my mom crazy because whenever she asks what he wants for Father's Day/his birthday/Christmas, he's just like "Oh I already got something for myself from Joseph Banks/Amazon/Borders/etc. so you can just wrap that and give it to me."

It drives my mom nuts because she can never surprise him with anything, haha.

I am doing something unbeknownst to me.

Lol! That would drive me crazy to Sarah!! But my dad guesses his presents and he watches your eyes to see if your telling the truth!!! Ugh you can never surprise him for his birthday or Christmas and it drives me, my mom, and sister absolutely insane!!

Lol! We're making my dad a big cookie cake today, and we're all gonna pipe our names on in frosting or something like that. Tomorrow we're taking him out to luch with the rest of the family. It'll be fun.

We'll probably take my dad to dinner. I haven't gotten him a gift but I'll make him a card.

Well, we celebrated early and gave my dad a mini-vacuum for the garage. xDD He actually loved it! For Father's Day we'll probably go out to lunch with my great grandpa and my dad, and then go home and play with our chickens. XD That's my dad's favorite thing to do. LOL!! I already made my Daddy a card. So did my sister.

Sounds like your dad had a great (early) Fathers day!!! I think we are going to see Pirates of the Caribbean 4 tonight so I might give my dad his stuff tonight!

Sarah, my dad is the same way. That's why for his present we're taking him to see The Green Lantern.

I also got him a really funny card.

We bought my dad a shirt and wallet and my grandpa cologne and a remote-control helicopter today.

That's what they wanted.

Tomorrow is Fathers day! We (my mom, my four sisters, and I) are taking my dad out for breakfast!

Sometimes I feel bad for him because he's literally the only man in the whole house. We even have three dogs, but they're all girls too!

Ahh!! I'm going to camp tomorrow, so I'm probably going to make him a nice card and buy him something when we go to Walmart today to buy the rest of my stuff for camp!

We're having a family party for all the Dads at my grandma's house tomorrow. We're fixing all their favorite foods, and we might go swimming. Then that night, my dad will want to watch his favorite movies and we'll give him his present.

That sounds like so much fun JediKnightGrl!!! I gave my dad and the deer sketch I did to him last night! He loved them!!

I made my dad chocolate cheesecake. We're going to eat it tomorrow.

We just ate dinner at Outback for Father's Day and we got him a nice little fishing sign to hang up from Target that we're going to give him tomorrow!

Wow!!! Have fun everyone!!!!! I'll be going to visit with my grandpa and great grandpa, and my daddy is going to get a surprise breakfast.....even if he doesn't know it yet.

My dad has a binder with lots of worship songs with guitar chords. It's falling apart so I'm typing them all up again and giving to him in a new binder. Then we can all sing them together while he plays his guitar. I think we might be taking him to go the flying field so he can fly his model airplanes too.

I decided this year that a regular ole store bought card wouldn't suit me this year, so I wrote my dad a poem :

"Through the ups and downs, you are always there. Even my bad days filled with despair, I appreciate the wisdom you share. This and so much more is why you're the best Dad out there, and for whom I will always care."
