Username Abbreviations

Okay, if you talk to me on chat, you know that I use abbreviations for people instead of typing their whole username out. I decided to make a key for everyone's abbreviations. If you want me to change yours, let me know:
Admin/Leia Organa= LO (or just Leia)

allishmalli= ALS (My real initials. I couldn't think of anything better.)

Haha, that's good. Amaranthine and I were just talking about this.....that everyone needed an abbreviation for their name because some were too long to type a billion times over. The other mods call me JC sometimes, and we usually just call Amaranthine Amaranthine. We call Leia Leia or sometimes just Ley.

Haha yes! I will totally use those abbreviations when I chat! Some peoples usernames are just so LONG to type out! Thanks allishmalli! Or should I say ALS! LOL

Those are great! I really like RJ, it sure beats Ray-Ray, my sister's nickname for me. xD

I don't like to use abbreviations because I feel it de-personalizes the username. I use nicknames, sometimes.
I call Allishmalli Alli, RachelisaJedi-Rachel, QueenKarina-Rachel(unless they're both on, then I use Karina), Jedi~Chick-JC or Jay, Leia-Ley or Leia, Barriss-Barriss XD. I also normally use the first word in the username(Andriee, Rex, Arda, Satine(or DSK), Maryanna, and Hannah).Or real names. I like being AM though. I am AM! It makes me feel sacrilegious though. XD

Ok, I understand. You don't have to use these, I just thought it'd be easier than typing out the whole thing. I do like the shortened name thing though.

I think in a chat it's good to use abbreviations, because it's confusing with all the conversation going on at one time and good to be able to address someone easily. In normal forum posts, I'd prefer to use the username or a nickname. But I think it was a great idea to put all the abbreviations together! It must have taken a while to give every single girl on the Lakehouse a unique abbreviation! I'm going to call my sister HK next time I see her. xD

Better tell her that I came up with it for the Lakehouse so she doesn't go, "Huh?"

Yeah. xD She drives me crazy by calling me Ray-Ray, so I'll start calling her HK. LOL!

I'm not on the list, but most of the time I'm JKG on the chatbox.
