How has God answered your prayers?

This topic is for us to share how God has answered our prayers!

I'll start with a prayer God answered for me yesterday.
So, on Saturday, our church is having a medieval banquet for the teens. I love the medieval time period, especially since I've read the Kingdom Series. Anyway, they said if you wanted to you could wear a costume. Well, I really wanted to, but I had no idea how I would get a costume. I decided to trust God and pray about it. My sister and I bought a sword from the Kingdom Series booth at a homeschool convention a few days ago, it's actually quite impressive.

So, I had a sword, and a nice Kingdom Series pendant too.

All I needed was a dress. Yesterday at church, a lady I didn't even know came up to me and asked if I needed a dress to wear for the banquet. She said her daughter was about my size and wasn't going. She told me I could borrow her daughter's dress! I tried it on and it fits perfectly! God knew exactly what I needed!

That is so awesome!!! The sword looks really cool. God is amazing that he answers prayers like that, isn't he??
I'll share one of mine.....

Most of you have probably heard this story already, but I still get excited when I think about it. Anyway, I was praying to go to Celebration V because I heard it on teh radio being broadcasted and I really REALLY wanted to go. I prayed that night about it, and even wrote about it in my journal, and the next morning, my mom surprised me and took me there!! I was so excited! I still am and it was almost a year ago! God is good!!!!

I just thought of another one!!! This one was kinda silly, but it was a big deal for me at the time.

I was with my cousin and sister in a gameroom in a Disney world hotel. We were playing this game where you spin the wheel and it gives you tickets. There was a tiny inch thick sliver that said 1000 tickets, and right before it was my turn to spin (it was also my first game I played that night) I said a prayer that I could win the 1000 tickets. I actually did. I won 1000 tickets, and split them with my sister and cousin so we each could get something good from the booth. I was amazed that God answered my prayer!! I was also like, 10 or 11 when this happened. When my cousin asked what I did to win, I told her, "I prayed!!" It was a silly thing, but it was really fun to see that God's there, and he's listening.

I love those stories!

I have one from not to long ago. I was feeling sick from some food I'd eaten, and I felt like I was going to throw up. My dad was trying to get me home but there was a lot of traffic. We were in my mom's car, and she hates people making messes in it. I prayed that I wouldn't throw up in the car, and then I trusted that God would get me home without getting sick. I didn't get sick and in a few minutes I felt a whole lot better. The experience helped me to trust in God more.

I've had experiences like that a lot!! I once was feeling sick because I accidentally had some dairy (i'm lactose entolerant) while on vacation, and I prayed to God that I wouldn't get sick and ruin everyone's day. After a few minutes, I was fine and the experience helped me to trust in God and remember that he's always listening!!!

I prayed for years for a dog, and then I got my adorable little Shetland Sheepdog, Spunky!

Yesterday I didn't eat lunch because I left my lunch card at home, and I didn't have enough money for the vending machine. I was really hungry, and I prayed that I would get to eat sometime before school was over. In the class after lunch, which is Yearbook, I was stamping out letters for the bullitin boards and I found some coins on the ground. It was the exact amount I needed to get something from the vending machine! So I didn't have to go without lunch. I was so happy, I just kept thanking God over and over.

Wow! That's amazing! God is listening!

That is SO cool Satine!!!!! See, God is listening! It's so cool when we get little reminders like that to let us know he's there.

Triple Amen! God is so good!

There have been many times, but the one I always think of first: when my super old phone (so old they don't make it any more) died, none of my pictures would transfer. I asked the ppl to try one more time after i prayed, and it worked! It shows that God helps us in even the super un important things of every day life, like cell phone pictures!

This isn't a recent answer to prayer, but very important to me anyways.
About a month ago I started praying about gettting a certain part in my school's play. I LOVE acting, and I really wanted the part. And guess what... I got it!!! Yay! I was so excited!!! It may not sound like a huge deal... but it meant the world to me and I'm so excited! The play is on Friday... (bites finger) Now I'm just praying that my part goes over smoothly. The Lord sure is good...

My play was last night... It went over perfectly!!! We got so many compliments afterwards... it was a total success. Just before it started, though, the cast was backstage, and we were all so very nervous. So a good friend of mine got us all together, and we started to pray. It was such a pure, sweet time. God answered our prayers!!!

Congratulations!!!! That's the best way to do it!!

Oh that's great, Obi-Wan's Padawan!! I'm in a play, too! I LOVE acting! My play's at the end of this month, and I'm so excited, because this is my first play that I have a big part in! So I hope it goes well!

I'm so happy for you Obi-Wan's Padawan!!!!!!! I had a concert today, and I prayed all throughout the piece and I played it very well!!!!!! I was extremely nervous, but after I was done I felt great. My cousin too. I hope your play goes well QueenKarina!!!!!!

Thanks everybody! I had such a great time. Acting is the best!!! Maybe one day I'll get to do a Star Wars play. Now that would be fun!

OOH! God has answered a big prayer of mine!!!!

My daddy applied for the director's position of his department that he works in now. Another lady was applying too, and we were hoping my daddy would get the job.

He did!!!! I'm so excited!!!!!! He's going to move into a bigger office now, and best part is that he's getting a pay raise! it'll really help us pay off some bills and pay for my private viola lessons!! We're truly blessed! I'm so glad he got the job!

I'm sorry if I sound like I'm bragging.....I don't mean too, I'm just happy for my dad.
