| Hey! I was just wondering, do you think that we should have a code? Like, if we ever meet each other like at a convention or something so we know that somebody's actually from TLH? If we did, it could be like the code in "Cars 2". I think we should. What do y'all think? | |

| Only thing is, we'll have to PM it to each other, otherwise anybody reading this thread who's not a member will know our code. Oooh, I haven't seen Cars 2 yet. I think my mom is going to LOVE it!! She loves all things spy! | |

| LOL! That's a really fun idea! We'll have to come up with something. Since you made a topic for it already, put ideas here!!!! Something Star Wars of course. | |

| Maybe we could speak to each other in Huttese or Mandelorian. Imagine the looks on people's faces. Lol! | |

| Well, I was thinking that it should be like the one from Cars 2. You see, one spy is supposed to say, "A Karmann Ghia has no radiator." and if the other car is a spy, then he or she says, "That's because it's air cooled." Now, if we do something similar to that, then it's gonna have to be something that only we understand. Otherwise, anyone at a convention will know how to respond to it, giving us the idea that that person I from TLF. That's what I think. | |

| Right. I've seen Cars 2 as well, but the code can't be anything obvious, becuase Mater got that code right on the first try. | |

| Or we could do something like in my book, "The Hiding Place". In my book, the underground messages were in terms of watches. For example, "We have a womens watch here that needs repairing. But I can't find the mainspring. Do you might have one?" (We have a Jewish woman in need of a hiding place and we can't find one among our regular contacts.) Maybe we could come up with something like that only referring to SW. | |

| That could work! I've read the Hiding Place too. It just needs to be something other people wouldn't get outside of LH. Almost like an inside joke. | |

| Maybe something about checking for your pulse? Like, have you checked for your pulse today? | |

| That could work!!! That could mean "Are you from TLF?". But wait, couldn't anybody say "yes"? Maybe we should have more codes to go along with that just to confirm it. | |

| When asked that question, we could reply, "No, but I know a Bluesaber." Lol! Maybe that's corny...I don't know. | |

| Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! I know!!! Someone could say, "The Dark Side has cookies" and then we would say, "But they're made with Splenda". | |

| I do like the "pulse" thing though. I wasn't trying to diminish the idea. I was just trying to keep options open. | |

| This is going great! I agree with you, allishmalli, we need a coded response too. Like maybe First TLF girl: "Have you checked your pulse today?" Second TLF girl: "Yes, it was going too fast cause I had too much caffeine." (Ashoka from NSNW) That particular one might be lame... But you get the idea. Only, we probably don't want it to be from NSNW because then anyone who read NSNW, whether they're a Lakehouse Sister or not, would have heard of it. Although they wouldn't necessarily know how to respond... Plus, if we see one we really like, don't say so on this thread, or anyone surfing the net who comes across Lakehouse will see it. We should PM allishmalli and keep posting like we didn't decide on it, and then allishmalli can decide the final code, since she started it, and PM the members. Just for safety, a thought. | |

| Ok! Sounds like a plan! Instead of using something from just any old fan-fic, maybe we could use something from "Too Much Free Time" since it's only been posted on TLF and it's funny. Any more ideas? | |

| That's a good idea! Since Rex'sgirl wrote TMFT and it's kind of 'our' TLF thing. Ya know? Allishmalli, Not-So-Normal Week isn't just any old fanfic, Bluesaber3 wrote it! LOL! And it's really funny, if you haven't read it, you TOTALLY should!!!!!!!! | |
