DO NOT, I repeat.....DO NOT buy the Jedi Master tickets. They are very expensive and you don't get much more than you would with the Jedi Knight tickets.

The Knight tickets are still expensive but, if you sell your badge after the convention, you can make all of your ticket money back. It's really a good deal if you ask me.

People want to buy badges after the conventions??? LOL!
Okay, thanks for the advice CBC!!!!! I've only been to one convention and it was very much a spur-of-the-moment trip.

Well, the collectors buy badges. Merchandise collectors will do almost anything to get their hands on convention stuff. Just remember, in 15 years or so, those badges will become very expensive (and possibly rare) so collectors will want to get them now when they are cheap.

Ah. That makes sense.

Ha ha ha!! My brother is one of those nerds! LOL! I'm sure he'll be wealthy in the future from all of his Star Wars stuff so I'm not going to say anything mean. One of his action figures is already worth over $100. Yes, over $100 for a tiny piece of plastic!

Actually, my brother and I have some really old Ninja Turtle action figures that I'm sure are probably worth tons of money. They're even still in the box.

Good idea! My brother will be buying the head donut online but he's going to have my mom sew the cap that goes under the donut and the poncho. I'm guessing that he'll just buy plain pants and boots at a clothing store.

My mom just told me that I'll be duel enrolling in 2012 and could have classes on Thursday and Friday. I hope not!!! That means I would miss 2 days of the convention.

So I have about 14 months to:
Buy a memory card for my camera
Make a new-and-improved Jedi costume
Save money for tickets, autographs, and souvenirs (yikes, this is going to be expensive! I'll add "figure out how to do this for cheap")
Figure out what I'd say to SW celebs so I'm not too awkward/shy if I meet anyone
See if I can volunteer
Pray that school doesn't start until September that year!

Arda_Ancalima, www.overstock.com has really cheap memory cards for cameras!! I buy all of my cards from them. I'm so glad that you'll be coming to CVI too!!!
