| We are getting ready for our March Newsletter! As many of you know the the theme this year is costumes! So if you have made or are in the process of making a Star Wars costume, we would love to see it!
Submission guidelines: 1. Costumes must be homemade. If you didn't sew your costume, but you made it out of stuff you already had, that's fine. JediKnightGrl's costume, for example, is fine because she made it out of her own clothes but bought the headpiece. But if you just went out and bought an Ahsoka costume, that wouldn't count.
2. Up to three photos are allowed. One full body photo, one close up on a certain detail, and one of participant's choice.
3. Please write a couple sentences about your costume! Where did you find the parts? What was the hardest part of it? Any tips for people making their own?
4. Multiple submissions are allowed.
5. Works in progress are welcome!(Leia, we must see that Bespin dress.
A word about facial blurring-if you would like to be cautious and take your face out, that's okay. However, if you submit the picture, it will only be used for the newsletter. Readers of the newsletter will be able to see the pictures, but will not be able to copy and/or save them. So you don't have to be worried about your picture being all over the internet.
IF you must blur your face out, make sure to do it as little as possible, preferably just the eyes. That way you won't be blocking out the head of your costume.
Please email pics to amaranthine@linglink.com or PM them to me!
I'll be submitting my Barriss Offee costume! Here's a good example of a picture with some facial blurring
Hopefully your picture will be a little more close up than that.

| Thank you! They don't have to be complete. Just maybe write a little bit about how you acquired the parts for the costume! | |
