Matt vs Hayden

I always have to fast forward the fireplace scene of AOTC because Hayden's acting was so terrible. But yeah, that's partly the dialouge as well.

LOL I always fast forward most of AOTC because the only parts I really like are the parts with Obi-Wan. It doesn't have much to do with the acting, though, it's just that I don't like Padme, and I think she and Anakin are not a good couple.

I don't care for the love scenses in Aotc but i do see the reason behind them and i feel it has very little to do if anything to do with Hayden's acting. The love scenes could have been better but at the same time it would be natural that anakin would be a little awkward around padme though hes loved her since he was little he hasn't seen her in 10 years now hes on an assignment with this girl he is crushing on since like forever but hardly knows. Add that to the fact that hes a jedi and is trained or told to not become attached so brain says one thing heart is screaming another. And as a jedi they don't teach how to charm the ladies so its kinda new to him so of course it wouldn't make any sense if he was this perfect romantic guy who knew what to say and how and when to say it it would be out of character but thats just my long and detailed opinion

wow i noticed i have alot of long and detailed opinions on this topic sorry i am just super protective of hayden people saying hes a bad actor or that he "ruined" starwars annoy me to no end. I think he played his part perfectly on who the character was.

as does Matt like i said before both play very different roles of anakin and both play/played them extreamly well

the romance in Aotc was pretty good in my opinion of course i love ani and padme so i am kinda biased but it seemed natural to me and before i start ranting again i will end it

Since I like the movies better than TCW, I'm going to go with Hayden; he was really good in ROTS and did a good job in AotC. Plus, I love the great acting chemistry he had with Ewan in the Prequels, especially ROTS

yay someone who actually likes hayden's acting and performance I am not alone lol (sorry and i do know some others on here that do too) but it seems everytime i go anywhere relating to starwars someone is beating up on Hayden and honestly i don;t see it i mean i loved his chemistry with Ewan and his overall performance was fantastic i think he perfectly captured the path anakin was following during the movies


Nothing against matt honestly i don't have a favorite i love both of them and they both bring Anakin to life I tend to like anakin from the clone wars a bit better only because i like seeing him more as the hero but since movie anakin got me started on starwars he will always be special to me

I agree, I liked Hayden's performance in Star Wars, especially in Revenge of the Sith. He and Ewan were fantastic together . I also like Matt on the Clone Wars, he has definitely stepped into the role really well.
